Hopefully someone with more experience will help you better...
With clones the leaves are going to start drying up and dying until roots grow and they can drink.

Are you using a dome? Are you misting them at all. They need moisture because they have no roots.

My experience with cloning is limited. I once made a little aero tub with a bunch if little holes in pvc pipe and it misted pretty well. I put close to thirty clones in it with no hormones just stuck them through little rockwool cubes to hold them and let the stem stick out of the net cup. 100% rooted. I put some seran wrap over them and sprayed water on them every day.

Looks like you're keeping it pretty simple which is good. What are the temps? Humidity? These things don't have roots, the only way to feed it is through it's foilage so a humidity dome with a heated mat will work wonders in making these things root. The ones that are yellowing, trim down the leaves even more, check and see the stem isn't rotten and if it is, cut it and re-shave. I had a clone rot, I re-cut and cut more of the leaves, then it rooted two itty-bitty roots and one was brown, I potted her in happy frog and it looked like fucking death, 1 week later I wake up and it's fucking strong as shit, all the weird colors disappeared and there were roots sticking out of the bottom of the Solo-cup. I'm amazed by this plant sometimes.

Edit: For clarity

Clone rot sound about rite lol I mist my clones often and I do have them in a dome , I take the dome off few times a day for a few minutes each time, in the room I keep them in it stays 80 to 85 degrees, and good air movement, I keep my cubes moist, I'm puzzled tho

if i may ask, why do you take the dome of for a few minutes? Just for misting?

If you're using a humidity dome, then DO NOT mist the bitches. You can air them by taking it off for a little bit, and I would change out the water every 3 days tbh but you only mist when you are not using a humidity dome. That promotes rot.

I was told to mist often, so long as ther is water I don't have to mist because of the moisture it creates, or do you mist less often

If your humidity is in the 70's-high 80's there is no need to mist at all. Only mist if you DO NOT USE the humidity dome. Or do a test run, spray one and not the other, but my sources say don't bother if you use the humidity dome, it's wet enough in there!

What the right amount of time to use the dome before not using it anymore, after they root? Or a few days after I clone do away and just mist occasionally

I spray them every 5-6 days with weak nute mix.
About day 5 I add some hydroguard/greatwhite to the plugs.
I use mat and dome and rooting takes 5-14days depending on mother health and medium used. They always look beat up when the roots first show on weak cuts. It trim leaves and I don't really seems to not matter much for mine.

I have 51 clones this time, last time I did the same method as now and got 10 from 15 , I read somewhere some stra8ns are hard to clone,

Thanks to everyone helping, I'm going to not mist just keep water changed and I think that will help loads actually, anyone who has anymore insight, don't hesitate

bru i don't know about not misting, they will wilt if you don't spray them and the air gets dry, you can see when they have high enough humidity (condensation on the inside of the dome).

I don't use a dome, I put all my clones in a cupboard with a single 12w 6500k cfl bulb, and i mist them everytime i have the chance to do so. I mist them wet, 8 hours later they are dry, then i mist them again.

I get 100% success everytime, Some take longer than others but eventually they all have roots.

also i wrap my rockwool cubes that i stick the clones into, in foil or something to block the light out, wet rockwool and some light with high humidity makes green mold grow on your cubes. Doubt it will do much i just dont like my rockwool cubes green.

That's what I'm getting at, if you DO NOT use a dome then you mist often. The dome takes misting out of the equation though. I promise.

It's mould dude , ditch the clones with black on them, humidity too high or your adding far too much water ,the latter more likely ,twice a day for 5 day then once a day ,every two days misting, vents closed on propagator for 5 ,days .then vents open there after till rooted

Summer no heating mat is needed room temp is fine ,

I agree if humidity is high has that no need to mist ,but you will need to at least take the lid of for a few mins to let fresh air get in there, high humidity ,tends to cause a water seal around the dome,or even better open the vents

There are many gizmo's and gadgets to clone now a day's,but most are un needed,When it all boils down to it,you can use a cloning ,system that cost 100 pound, or one that involves a propagator that cost a pound from b&q, clone x ,or aloe vera ,and a mister,The end result is to get a copy of the mother or father,to root and become a full grown plant its self,.

I have found the best method to be rock wool or any of the cubes available now jiffy plugs.
I use aloe vera has rooting compound ,but choice is yours
Most important a healthy mother, the clone will only be has good has the mother, its taken from
Propagator, pref one with vent's that open and close,

I have started to do away with the small cubes and just insert them into the larger one's,When i choose the clone i want i all ways over cut it length wise, and put it straight into water, with either clone x or aloe vera in it,i leave it in there till i have took all,i need.
Before making ,the cut i try to get the stem to be pretty much the exact same size has the cube,so all the stem is in the cube,Cut at 45 dg and either stick into the end of a leaf of aloe vera,to cover the stem in the slime,or do the same with clone x or your rooting compound of your choice.I use a kebab skewer,to make the hole the same size has the stem, but try to make it a little wider,so the clone fits in easy, then push the sides around the clones so its a snug fit.

After that it's simple have the vent's closed for the first 5 day's,this will take the humidity up,to has high has 90%,sometimes 100%.Mist the clones with a fine mist,i do it over them over a bath or sink and let the fine mist fall on them. Also mist the inside of the lid twice a day for these 5 day's.After 5 day's i open the vent's on the propagator, the cheaper propagators tend not to have vents so i just put note pin's in the corners of the tray to raise one side so fresh air can get in easy,I continue to mist twice a day for about 2 more day's.After this the start of the second week i misted every other day the clones and the inside of the lid,i want them to have to work to get moisture now,and normally roots follow shortly after, because there in bigger cubes they normally take 14 days, sometimes a few days more, don't rush them, they will root,if the cubes dry out i re soak in the water or aloe vera mix that i first used to soak the cubes and squeeze out the excess, but not to hard on the cubes or you may break new grown root's.

Once the roots show, don't be too eager to get them straight into the medium, leave them a while and let the root structure get more, then once they hit the medium they tend to shoot up,they can be kept in the clone phase for a while, but you really want the roots to be a nice white, with a fresh smell to them like sprouts,At one point i used to deal in clones so i have took 10000's,and i have made all kind of cloning systems but i have found that the simple and easy way to take them is the way above,In the end lets face it a clones a clone, and has long has it is healthy has lovely roots then it does not matter if it took 6 quid to do them rather than a cloning system that cost 50 quid the end result is the same.

Light wise a simple house lamp with a cfl bulb in it i like to use the day light warm spec ones just for that little bit of extra heat,i never use a heating matt,in winter i will put them near something warm like a potable heating pipe i have ,i would use a matt in winter. But the heat from the light is normally ample for them.I have tried t5's before but i find they are a little too hot for really young clones,by making sure the full stem is in the cube, you will find that you do not get wilting,

Good luck hope this helps

Thank you very much for got going out of your way to explain your methods which btw I like alot similar to how I do it , now that I have a good insight I'm sure everything will be fine, I had a few more die on me, i came to conclusion that I over watered when I sprayed too often, I'll keep your method close and keep it in perspective for the next time, thank you really, alot of people here are helpful and I appreciate that, how long before the clones start growing vigorously after you plant them in your medium, just curious, I got some outdoors already and I'm going to tend them tomorrow, I go every 3 days to them and others
