yep. dump some alcohol in it, dump some coarse sea salt in it, plug holes, shake, dump, rinse, repeat until clean and new condition.

Salt and alcohol is the way to go. A friend of mine used the 420 cleaner, it seemed as though it was half salt and half alcohol with something to turn the liquid blue. They advise that you reuse the solution, so I decided to reuse an alcohol salt solution. Works like a charm. I use a large beverage pitcher to house the solution, and let my pieces sit in there as necessary. I then rinse them out in the sink, making sure to get all the salt residues out, then put them through the dishwasher to make sure its all gone and to free up any resin that may have become trapped in the piece.
Alternatively, I have found that if I am diligent about dishwashing my piece weekly, the solution is unnecessary. This also avoids the need to remove the salt film which seems to be impossible to remove in some irregularly shaped pieces.

I found that heating up the iso helps a lot.

or pre rinsing the piece with hot water to heat up the glass and resin.

for those pieces that look like a gas station bathroom, try CLR. it will clean the dirtiest caked on gunk.

I prefer grain alcohol and coarse salt. I don't want petroleum residues on my bong..i can taste it from ISO. Running hot..HOT..water through my pipes/bongs after each use keeps them pretty damn clean, i just do the alcho clean once a month.
guilty. thanks, guy!..sadly, it's too far gone for alcohol and salt..can't wait to try! i might even have some waaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the back under my sink.

dude..i let this shit soak all day and shaking with rock salt my sink was a total mess that shit sticks to everything and water just solidifies..someone said they rinse with hot water?

You can heat up your Iso. You gotta create friction by swirling the salt iso mix in your tube. It will start to break down forsure

I plugged the holes and filled one of my small ones to the top with coarse salt, then alcohol, then i tied a engraving gun to the side and turned it on and let it vibrate for an hour..you can improvise with your vibratory device..lol.
The real beauty of this is the citric acid dissolves the calcium in hard water stains. Vinegar works a little better. Only use distilled water in your bongs.

By the way I stole your lemon juice idea but I did a 50/50 mix in the top pipe and the bowl. it was a big hit.

I'm guilty for using this 
It takes me 30 seconds and a few jerk shakes to go from tar infested gunky to 100% crystal clear. I clean every 3 days because its easier to maintain a crystal clear bong this way.
I used to use hawaiian rock salt,raw lemon juice and 91 iso, it would work but i would also need to let it sit for 45minuits first!
