I defrosted and cleaned a refrigerator that hasn't been cleaned well in about 6 years. Hafta go back and detail it. I'm gona use a new toothbrush on the crannies.
My fella met this really old man in the pub a few months back, he was moving from one retirement home to another, had no family and all his mates in the pub that he'd been drinking with for years had better things to do than help this little old man with emphysema move house. Dude had to sit and get his breath back after doing the zip on a holdall ffs, that's how frail he was, and he was recovering from a fall so he was black and blue. Anyway, we offered to go help him pack, my bf sorted all the furniture and stuff while I cleaned up, this man was embarrassed that he'd not been able to keep on top of his flat since his fall and the staff were making him feel bad about it, twats. So the kitchen floor had 3 inches of sticky black grime that I couldn't quite get off completely so had to kneel in to deal with the fridge.... I'm not a sickly kind of person, I've had 4 kids so nothing much phases me, I'm certainly not a wimp about this kind of thing, but I threw up in his sink. I tried to do it quietly though so he wouldn't feel bad. There was old, manky food mixed in with fresh stuff and he'd spilled milk everywhere and there were fish fingers he must have put in there to defrost and not noticed when they fell down the back.... I could be sick now just thinking of it. And when I finally lost my temper and asked the manager how she could live with herself watching somebody in these conditions day after day, she said, "This is independent living accommodation, what do you expect me to do?"I defrosted and cleaned a refrigerator that hasn't been cleaned well in about 6 years. That's very kind of you and your man to help an enderly gent, who was a new aquaintance, in need of help. Too many people turn a blind eye, when there is nobody else to lend a hand. Your story makes my fridge clean-up seem like a cake walk now! thanks hehMy fella met this really old man in the pub a few months back, he was moving from one retirement home to another, had no family and all his mates in the pub that he'd been drinking with for years had better things to do than help this little old man with emphysema move house. did you ever look into ordering a case of booze online? when i was thinking about using 190 Everclear, (our state doesn't sell it) i checked out some pricing from a large retailer in NJ that does online sales. Prices even with shipping were reasonable, plus they had Bourbon brands that i couldn't get here. some retailers wouldn't ship the Everclear to my state though.im tired of shitty liquor selections too btw.. small texas towns dont have shit
