This is probably a stupid question, but I am on my third pot of coffee, fourth hit of Cherry Pie, and totally bored. What is the significance of left as opposed to right when we categorize the parties? Having trouble wording this... Why are liberals considered left and conservatives right? How did that get started, and why?

Troll this retarded thread at your pleasure.

There is no significance to it. Both major parties are right wing. One is center-right, the other is far-right.

I hate when I get out of a rad, long, super hot shower and rip a huge fart. It spoils the whole experience...

Because blue is the most liberal of colors.

Actually that was even the other way around until 2000.

We are running a self proclaimed "Goldwater Girl" as a democrat, and a life long democrat as a republican. This should tell you everything that you need to know.

Apropos of nothing... I grew up two blocks from Hillary. What a place it was. The vote was nearly always 90% Republican. I can still remember my mother calling the popo on a black door to door salesman. The police knew why she was calling... "A black man? Yes maam, we have a car on the way". They followed the poor fucker all day. My how things there have changed. That town has opened it's arms wide to any thoroughly Americanized person regardless of their race. All that matters now is the amount of green in their wallets. Such a bourgeois little shit-hole. I doubt that Hillary will take the vote there this November though.

Still wondering why her logo is a big fucking arrow pointing to the right...
It is a bad logo but still better than the worn out, warmed-over shit coming out of Donald's brain-trust.

A family member of mine designed the Republican National Convention logo - the elephant trampling a guitar. It took her several minutes. They tinkered with it for weeks and made it even stupider.

The funny thing is, you're going to have to continue reminding me that Clinton and Trump are not the same person because it really isn't sinking in.

Just don't wonder why this presidential election is projected to have the lowest voter turn-out in history.

Do you sometimes feel that a lottery of all citizens would have offered you a better choice of candidates?

Have things really changed that much? Welcome to 2016...

Here is how I keep them straight... I do not want to bang Chelsea Clinton (nor hopefully, does Bill)
