Anyone ever flush with ice water?

Heard it will force the plant to put out more rez thinkiN winters comin?
Maybe bring out some nice fall colors as well?
NE body tried it?

If your against flushing, just save it, we've all heard the arguments....
I'm only on my 4th harvest and would like to try things for myself,
Especially with such a controversial subject.

I tried rm3s flush with boiling water method, didn't notice much difference other than a faster fade, and it can't hurt much if you do it within a few days of chop so why not give it a try?

Could be a fast way to make a hermie. Only time I have ever heard of ice used. Is when the plant is to hot. A few cubes tossed onto the dirt. Never heard of anything more than that. Even regular water is not ice cold for my plants.

When I flush I just water as regular
With just plain water

I'm not sayin know that's why I'm asking but have you ever heard to stress the plants a little in the final days. ??

I was literally thinking the same
If i do it the last 3-4 days

It's your grow man try it if you want, won't hurt anything, he'll even if it does go herm in the last couple days it won't do any damage, but you do understand that by asking this question you have unlocked the floodgates and now it will become a medley of nails in plant stalks, mt dew feeding schedules, defolitaion vs non defoliation, autos and photos, flushing is necessary/bs folks and every other highly debated topic on this forum, so hang on and enjoy the ride!

Ice flushing was definitely a smooth smoke I'll say that much. It's really probably just personal preference so you have to try it on your own mate. I don't grow with chems anymore so I don't flush anymore. These are my opinions, any attacks won't be answered so don't waste yer time.

@RM3 and his posse have me about to test out the boiling technique. It kills me to do it because all of my soil is delicious. I fucking hate to murder it with the cauldron.

What was your boiling technique, please?

If you want some crazy colours coming through you just flower for a little longer! you can also reduce you 12/12 by 1 hour at the most , for the last few weeks of flower( after swelling) or flower over run time.

Sometimes you have to run over your alloted weeks, waiting for slow Sativas to finish up. I got some great colours through with both techniques.

Forget about icing your roots! Go and stick your legs in freezing water for a few days- they'll fall off!

What would the hope be of using boiling water to flush?
