Trying to justify why their party is less corrupt than the other party.

If you have 4 pairs of shoes. Two pair have shit all over them. The other 2 pairs are clean and new. But people want to try to justify wearing the shoes with shit on them for the next 4-8 years. It's so freaking idiotic. My shitty shoes are better than your shitty shoes! Mine only have 3 shits on them, yours has 4 shits! Lol.

Really, this is how a lot of people are sounding these days.

When did accepting corruption become standard? When did corruption by the government start being justified by the people as normal practice?

I don't think there can even be a conversation about dems or repubs with out it turning into "so what if she did illegal activities, your candidate is a racist nationalist" or "so what if my candidate doesn't have credentials to be president, it's better than crooked hillary!"

Really? This is how most people are thinking? And people are OK with it. That's what scares the shit out of me.

People need to get it together. Corruption is not okay. Racism is not OK. Being careless with information is not OK. Banning people that have lived here for years is not OK. Ffs. So neither dem or repub are qualified.

End of rant.

Oh, and by the way.

The elites still win when you vote either way. Facts. They set up the two party system to make you think you're being a part of something. It's all a facade because in the end, it doesn't even mattttterrrrrrr *mic drop*

That's the mind set I'm talking about, ub.

See, half of America is against hillary.
Half is against Trump. That means half of our country will be upset with who becomes president. Is that the way America is supposed to be?

Guess what. When has anyone said anything bad in the masses against third party candidates? Imagine a candidate winning that had 75+% of our population behind them.

Guess what would happen? A million positive things. People would be running around feeling like they live in Denmark with huge smiles on their faces.

But, no. That can't happen. Our country just likes to basically go to war and hate each other during the election season. The country split 50/50 because that's the only thing the people think they can have. Sad.

i agree. it's idiotic for trump supporters to try to accuse hillary of being crooked since she is the most honest candidate in the race.
That's a bullshit measure.

When you fact check Hillary and something doesn't match it's a lie becuae she is smart. Also it will be in her interest.

When you fact check trump you find out he is wrong. There is no intent to misrepresent or decieve a good portion of the time, the dude is just wrong. He gets a lot of shit wrong. It amazes me.

So trumps dishonesty rating is artificially high due to his inaccurate tendency.

The way I see it is... Election season starts. Our people (most of them) already picked a side before it started. They stay distracted by defending their candidate tooth and nail, defending their candidates downfalls like they aren't there.. Because they think they I don't have a choice. This is why it's a two party system. To distract everyone from other overly qualified candidates that would actually make a huge difference and steer things in the right direction. The elites don't want that. They have it figured out by making people believe it's the right wing or the left wing. They win either way when you think like this.

I mean, come on. On the left hand we have One candidate found guilty of crimes but not indicted. Gross negligence. Along with other things I don't even care about anymore. On the right hand a crazy billionaire who thinks he can run a country, but has never been near politics in his life. He thinks because he can run a business he can run the country. He's clearly borderline racist, xenophobic along with other things I don't even care about anymore.

Then our citizens fight over which one is better, because the third party candidates don't help the elites cause. So they get no publicity. They can't be in the debates. They are drowned out for a reason. Think about it. If the elites weren't worried, the voting system would be a hell of a lot different than getting the honor of voting for two turd sandwiches with piss sauce.

When will people stop.....complaining about the 2 party system? Oh I know, after the general election. No one gives a shit about building up the green/libertarian/independent etc parties at the state level and only seem to really care every 4 to 8 years during the political superbowl when their votes are too precious and virtuous to be mixed in with the binary tribalism of the uninformed commoners.

If that's how you really think it is, then keeping thinking that. You must not follow politics until the general election.

Lol, man. I hope that post isn't serious.

Hmmm. Super pacs. You just got owned.

Which brings us back to the elites making it seem like your two party system is the only thing people care about.

You ever follow or have heard of the green party before this election? Probably not.

I'll make the history easy for you.

"The Green Party is now in its fourth decade. Founded in 1984, the party has run a national ticket in every presidential election since 1996. In 2000, nominee Ralph Nader received nearly three million votes; in 2012, Jill Stein received the most votes for a woman in a presidential election in U.S. history. There have also been hundreds of Greens elected across the nation, from state legislatures and mayors down to local zoning boards."

I made my grandma second guess her hillary vote in about 10 minutes. That 84 year old die hard Democrat she is. God bless her soul

Ohhhhh, not enough to count on one hand ;) you have to pay to play and they aren't sell outs in regard to the citizens the government is supposed to be for

On the other hand, if you include the sellouts (like Bernie) just joining the left or right, then you can add a handful.
