Ive got more of the plant closer to harvest but they are on my old hardrive that crashed....ill see if I can retrieve them.
 
Damn! That looks s0o0 tasty! What was your final dry weight off that one scrog plant? n quick question...Does every plant always start with little popcorn nugs then just fill up into big colas?

Thanks man, it really is pretty damn tasty, no lie, everyone says it tastes like coffee beans covered in chocolate with nice a nice little tangy aftertaste.

My final dry weight off the one plant was 10.5 oz's. The other smaller plant was 2.5 oz, so I got right around 13 oz's total.

Yeah man all plants start with little popcorn buds, all those little colas on my SCROG plant were from one single little popcorn budsite.....those will grow and expand into the buds which will then form your cola's
 
I would love to see some pics before you harvested, if you can gather them. I just cut down my Big Bud SCROG Monday. Two more days drying and I will clip them and see what I ended up with. Nice thread nowstopwhinning... I hope you can recover your pics.
 
-Wow, you got 10.5 off that one plant? I might have to go to this method.
-I have a 36 site aeroflo2 which is 4x4. (6 rows of 6 sites) Instead of doing 36 sites all cramped together, should I just make a bigger screen like 6x6 and do 1 plant in each row to keep my plant # at 6?
-Will the authorites really let me off less if I have only 6 plants but still have a screen full of massive buds?
-And one last question. From Feminized Seeds, how long do you think it would take to go from germination to a screen full of finished buds. (no dry, no cure time, right before you chop em' . Thanks, hope you get those pics back I really wanna see the finished screen.) :wall: 8)

I can tell you that my c4 babies (look in my journal in my sig) went from cutting to flowering switchover in 7 weeks. that's with roots at 1 week, transplanted at 2 weeks. 4 plants on a 3x3 table.
 
Hey NSW, I have a few questions for you.

I just built a scrog cabinet. I will be staying under the legal MMJ limit regardless so # of plants isn't a concern, but now that you did your first scrog, how do you feel about the 1 plant per square foot / flowering when they start to poke through method? Do you think that it is reasonable to both fill the screen and yet not overfill with that method or would you suggest the safer route?

Also with your experience do you think topping would be a good idea? Or only if I went with less plants? I will be growing clones from a mother. I know I will nail the specifics down after the first harvest but I was hoping to get a general idea of what to expect.

And how high did you put the screen above your plants?

Thanks lots, my seeds will be here soon and I will probably do a Grow Journal. Got to grow some moms first though.

3-3.5 months
Honestly though theres to many factors involved. Your experience (affects how much you stress your plants), your nutes, soil quality, strain, lighting, ventilation, co2, etc. :peace: :)

I think your idea of doing one plant per row is awesome and should definitely work depending on your lighting, youd probably want atleast 2 400w-600w hps's The 400watters should be fine and wouldnt make as much heat.

Yes I do believe the authorities would let you off a little easier with less plants, check norml for your states laws, heres a link State By State Laws - NORML

I think one plant per square ft would be a little much....thats 16 plants under a 4x4 screen. I think 4 plants would be much better.

topping or fiming is VERY easy! I say go ahead and give it a try even if your new...just wait till the plant is about 5-10 inches tall. I honestly love fiming and get great results every time I try it! topping and FIMING is definitely better when your doing less plants because they will bush out a lot more.

When placing the screen make sure its high enough above the top of the pot so that you can get in there and water easily.
