not really

genetics?
is it topped?
how many tops?
etc.

i could have one 3 foot plant where this light is not enough for
i could have 16 lollipopped plants in a 4 SF sea of green under it as well

I'm simply asking how many average size indoor plants can fit under the beam. You're thinking about it too much.

i dont think there is a such thing as an average sized indoor plant. there certainly is a huge variety of 3 foot tall indoor plants. like i said they could be anything from a single cola to a 9 SF bush, and are usually somewhere in between.

dont think about plants. think about each 78W fixture can cover about 2-3 square feet max

I would guess something like 6x 1 gallons 4x 2 gallons 2x 3's and 1x 5 gallon.

It is kind of like asking "hey what's my yield going to be from these photos?" kind of question....I am sure you know the answer by now :peace:

I dunno if the T1 will cut it, then. Might have to go for the T2 eventually. I grow each plant in a 5-gallon bucket and have two, one topped and one untopped, under my current light.

If you are pulling over 100-150 grams per / 5...then probably would want to step it up to a T2 at least.....

Sorry 78watts on the T1? I would want two over a five gallon imho....

I think it's pretty well-reasoned. Fuck your face.
The reasonable answer is... It depends.

In my eyes it depends on how you train/grow your plants.

I would expect that light to cover a 2x2 for dimensions I guess, now if you let your plant grow like a bean pole straight up I don't think you will be as happy as if you trained your plant to be low with an even canopy and filled that 2x2 with tops.

Basically what you have in that light is photon numbers basically equivalent to your current viper spectra using only about 55% of the total current draw from the wall.

You could run 2 for the same draw and double your ppfd probably due to overlap.
