Don't Make The "Miracle Grow Mistake"

Had severe nitrogen toxicity from slow release Miracle Grow soil 6 weeks into flower. Stunted growth, slow recovery despite flushing twice with pH'd water at twice the pot size.

Now, at 12 weeks flower (84 days), it seems they will never finish. No amber trichomes yet, despite the brown harvest look they have.

How much longer should I give them? I have some high dollar autoflower at 4 weeks flower I would like to get under my bloom T5s!

These plants are bagseed from someone's outdoor grow last year.

I could grow mg soil and there are some threads here of people doing it.

Part of the problem was the flushing.

Its not the mg fault, its yours. You're asking how much longer? How long you been growing?

If the leaves were severely clawed ajd still are, how could the problem be flushing? "When in doubt of nute problem, flush" is what seems to be common advice on numerous forums. Also are posts recommending jot using MG.

This is why. When using time release ferts in soil and getting burn, keep on the dry side for less nutrient uptake.

You would've fried them in any time release soil and flushed them.

Thank you, seems other just want to bash. My conclusion was MG caused a nitrogen toxicity (obviously) and I guess flushing made ot worse.

ya your gonna get bashed when you made a thread title like that, in yur first grow... and some have been very successful using their products, experienced growers..who've used it for many years on various plants including cannabis

Not bashing. You need to take the time to really think about what you're doing when you grow.

You were over watering or something to release more nutes or you fed it something else on top of it.

You are a new grower. You made a mistake. Accept the mistake and learn from it, not blame it on something else. Plenty of people grow in mg just fine.

I use MG's Nature's Care line. You're the problem. Stop being the problem.

Not bashing. You need to take the time to really think about what you're doing when you grow.

You were over watering or something to release more nutes or you fed it something else on top of it.

How does a plant grow and burn later? They did! Watered when pot was light/dry.

Pay attention to how to grow? Yeah, guess you got it right your first time and every time since? Geeeshz People learn from experience, acknowledging kistakes and asking for advice and suggestions. NOT from being talked down to.

I posted my opinion on MG. I will not use it again when there are so many more and better options.

Those yellow leaves aren't nitrogen burned, they're severely overwatered and lacking nutrients. Maybe lockout.

Nitrogen burn = necrosis. That is clearly extreme chlorosis, either because the cannabis used all its nutrients up, the nutrients are locked out, or you washed them away with your overwatering.

Aren't the yellow leaves the plant using nitrogen from them in it's final stage? I've read that everywhere. Opinions/diagnosis here is all over the place.

No, it's nitrogen not being able to bond with Mg and other highly mobile nutrients to form chloroform (the green shit) because you're rinsing it away. Nitrogen is just part of what makes it green, although nitrogen is not very mobile in the soil. The lower leaves are so chlorotic that they've become necrotic. It could be then end game, but it's definitely not your MG without your help.

Bottom line, what I mean is, what you're describing isn't N tox, and any issues that you have are caused by you, not what you use. However, maybe if they aren't finished, the trouble is just impatience.

It can't release "more." It's time released. It's got a slow release mechanism. Maybe it's from your flush and from your end push, but whatever your issue is isn't from what you're using 6 weeks into your grow.
