New to DWC/Bubbleponics - 4x4

Currently we have 3 NL feminsed from Sensiseeds - we're growing each into mothers to take clones from for this project.

4x4 tent

Thinking about using plastic storage boxes - 39cm wide by 58cm long.

I've found a 50l version, and a 60l version. Which would be more suited for a DWC setup?

How many plants could fit in each box?
What size mesh/basket pots would I need?

Would I need a pump for each box?
Is there a air-pump that can link upto multiple air-stones? if not - how many would we need with 2 air-stones in each box?
Would 2 30cm Air-stones be enough for each box?

Ebay search "commercial o2 pump". There's ones one there that are 1700+ gph with 12 outlets.they are loud but pump massive air.

Will do, but right now i'm more focused on if I should use buckets or boxes. + how many.

I've been to my local hardware store and found a 600lp/h pump. would that be enough?

Did someone say DWC? Here's the link on the basics of how to do it right.
Some things you'll need:
68F(20C) Reservoir Temperatures MAX. Anything else is just frustration and waste
Reverse Osmosis Filtered water for natural pH control and clean, clean cannabis
High Transpiration. High heat, high humidity is easy and decent. Low heat, low humidity grows higher quality. Pick one.

What kind of light do you have? a 600w or 1000w equivalent is good for that size space. A 1000w HID lamp will require around 45Gallons/170Liters of nutrient solution, for a natural pH swing with a fast enough cycle time.

You can add as much air to your reservoirs as you want, up until the point it begins to raise the pH. Check the pH and start adding air, back off when the pH begins to change. Too little air will work fine, until mid flower when O2 demands go up and then the plants will die. It's better to have a little too much air, than not quite enough.

I've rocked DWC for over 15 years, love it for how simple and clean it can be. Read that thread a few times, it's loaded with great DWC information. :)

Whatever is most readily available. I've run anywhere from 6 pumps to 1, for 45gallons of solution.

The key is to find the point where your pH changes. More bubbles is always better than less, as long as the pH stays stable.

So... you're saying you only oxygenate your res?

Missed that particular question, apparently.

Yes, I use airstones. Every non-cannabis study I've read has shown higher dissolved oxygen levels are created, when airstones are used vs. open lines.

Thanks for the info! Will the 45L/min version be overkill and change pH?
