Bud Rot

Hey guys, I have some bud rot forming on the inside branches of a plant. I stripped all the inside leaf and fan leafs to thin out and allow more air flow; also removed all sight of the rot, I have serenade coming in the mail. But I was wondering if I should start flushing the plant to get it ready for harvest? It needs like another 2 weeks I'd say but I don't want to lose it to the rot. Or should I see what happens, keep feeding and spray with serenade?

I really would like it to keep going but I was looking for maybe some insight as to if I could gain control of the bud rot with the serenade and going through the plant everyday or just flush and wake it out appreciate the info !

Yeah it would be good to let them go a lil longer .....if you have a loupe check your trichs....and if bud rot continues then you may have pull the plug at the first signs of early harvest so you don't lose yeild to rot .....GL

Can't give you info on flushing .....my opinion on flushing is probably different than yours .....I've tried it years and years ago and now for many years I just slowly lower the nutes and then stop the completely so the last few weeks I'm giving just molasses water to feed my soil and then the very end I give the last waterings with just water ......my plants always fade real nice and I don't have any issues ........it's your choice to flush but to answer your question I'd check trichs and if things are all milky then I think you'd be ok to start getting them ready for chop however you decide

Flushing is a myth my friend. Plants don't work like that. Drop your feeding down to 1/3 or 1/4 of regular for the final weeks. The only thing you would ever be flushing would be salt buildup in the soil (or whatever medium you grow in) if you are feeding heavily with synthetics. They look good though eh, keep an eye on that rot though. Were me I would cut those buds out affected by rot so its not spreading any further

Appreciate the tip ! I will cut the feedings back that makes allot of sense, I've never thought about it that way. All the rot is cut out I hope I can make it another 3 weeks appreciate it mang !

Yeah just because you are dumping water to a plant doesnt mean its up taking it. It drinks what it wants (or rather what it needs).Thats the way they "eat"

You really shouldn't put anything on the buds now because you will be smoking it and smoking serenade can't be a good thing. That plant is close enough if it keeps molding just take it. Nitrogen encourages mold..

I'd stop feeding, water as normal, and maybe get a fan blowing up under the canopy. If you don't let that moist air settle on the buds she will last longer. Watering more would just increase your chance of rot I would think.

I always stop feeds least 2 weeks before im gonna harvest...just water don't hurt nobody last couple weeks its a gd way for the plant to really go to work with whats left available in the soil cos it thinks its life is ending lol

For me: once I get bud rot, I can't ever stop the spread. I would trim out bad areas and come back in one or two days to more. Now, once I see it on a plant, I cut her down. I'll get more by not carving the rot out, daily for a week or two. And, I don't want it spreading to an uninfected plant. I don't spray this late.

Been battling bud rot myself and its a losing battle. I slowly chopped as much as i can to get it gone and I havent seen any after a week of slowly chopping. I lost maybe about 50% of my yield on one plant and see it has effected another. I would recommend trimming the effect bud as soon as possible I trimmed a extra 2 inches from the infected area and that seem to slow it down a lot. Im also in week 7 myself.
