Any time you replant it shocks them. They'll slow their growth for anywhere from a few days to a week and a half until they get their roots re-established in the new medium.

That is why I never replant. I germinate and then plant directly to the large pot they'll spend their entire lives in.

They're fine.

This is why replanting is a bad idea. In a few days when they recover, they'll start growing again. You'll quickly find that they outgrow the cups as well, so you have to move it to a pot and it starts all over again.

That's why I never do it.

I have a replant technique that does not seems to shock plants at all. I start seeds in a sandwich bag filled with soil. A few weeks after the seedlings have a decent root structure I transfer them to 5-6 gallon pots. The plastic bags are very easily removed without disturbing the soil or roots and the plants never seem to slow down at all. If the seeds aren't feminized I sometimes replant into a gallon container lined with a plastic bag until it preflower. This way I'm not wasting soil growing males.

IMO the key is to not disturb the root structure and handle the plant as gentile as possible. Those cups aren't good for starting seedling because removing them disturbs them too much.

Re potting is a good idea if you do it properly.

Re potting is a good idea if you do it properly.
Re-potting is a complete and total waste of time and effort for anybody except very large scale growers.

The only reason people re-pot is because they're germinating 15 to 20 plants at a time. By using smaller containers and moving up as they grow re-potting when necessary they can keep them closer together which makes them easier to store and use less lighting, which saves a good bit of money over the long haul.

But if you're growing a few plants in a tent or other small space, it's completely and totally unnecessary. If you're growing outdoors as well it's completely unnecessary as you have the sun and don't need to save on lighting. You can plant from germinate right into the finished pot in the grow space and let it fly. No re-potting required.

IMO if they haven't grown in two weeks you must have damaged the root structure. How much light are they getting?

I got a duel fixture im using florecent bulbs....there in a plastic bin...bit when i transfered them i cut the cup so i put the soil in the bigger cup had soil in that but the center dug out no roots were visible so i doubt i damaged them i think i might be watering wrong or somethin theyve grown since then another set of nodes but very slowly...how many hours of light 18 right and water every time the soil dry? I got a spray bottle just to get the surface wet but aomething wrong and there was a tiny green spider on one i killed it he ate a bit of one of the fingers
