Timber Kits Cree CXB3590 performing nicely

A couple weeks under my new Timber DIY build and things are looking nice. Two girls from same seed batch schooling me on how anything can happen, one short and bushy, the other leggy. I'll compensate, hopefully not having to redesign my frame. I'll run four smaller pots next time for better utilization.

Take note of the fan, I have another pointed at the back tent wall. I point away from plants for indirect circulation; but this is especially nice because it creates good turbulence as the two uptakes collide at the top of the tent. All components are just warm to touch, the circulation cools all quite nicely. I love having dimmers for inspection and maintenance! Just flipped to flower, stretch away girls...

Whats his ppfd then ? Because I dont read how big it is but it sure looks small and thight.Dont worry your plants will love It.
Full tilt it should be around 1150 PPFD for a 3 x 3. An estimate I grabbed from Tasty LED using 2ea of their T3. I haven't measured or calculated though. I've been running around 75%, they love it so far :)

is that the 6 cob 300w. kit with a dimmer added? it looks nice & im not too sharp about led's yet so I've got to ask I can't tell is its a driver on one India & a dimmer on the other or if you're running 2 drivers but whichever it is it looks like you're getting good coverage

No that's two 225w kits, 3 cob each, 1 driver each. Trust me I didn't know squat and still don't by most comparisons. Dan is a big help. The dimmer is pre-wired to each driver. I have pics of how I built the frame, I can PM you a rough instruction set if interested.

Nice setup.those heatsinks look bigger than most or no? Are they 140mm? Sounds like the timber kits are pretty decent and well thought out, maybe i should be looking at this closer.
Good eye, those are actually 160mm heatsinks. Kits normally come with 140mm but Timber was evaluating 160mm samples and I was able to get them. Not sure of they can do them on the regular though. Here are more build pics:

I also have an AgroMax 24" Pure UV bulb running on a separate timer. Small doses with that puppy, they recommend 15 minute intervals with a couple hours max per cycle, kept at least 36" from canopy

Nice job. Where did you get the aluminum frame?

Thanks Freddie. Frame was built from a couple items available at Home Depot:

1ea 8ft aluminium square cut into four 24" pieces:

4ea 3ft 3/4" aluminium angle cut to 30":

It's a 30" x 24" to accommodate drivers on each end for an open center (UV light above). Home Depot sells bulk chain, four 7 link pieces which I can manually "adjust" for tighter hanging profile. Bulk screws, hack saw, little vise, and drill:

lol at that vise, but hey it worked. I don't build stuff so this was a project for me but wasn't too bad, just had to decide on a size and go from there.
