Mixing nutrients.

Hey guys I'm getting the fox farm big bloom and tiger bloom. On the feeding schedule it says at around week 6 to give it 3 tsp of grow big and 2 tsp of tiger bloom. This is a stupid question but would I mix them both in the same gallon of water?

They are very concentrated chemicals, pouring them in the bucket before you fill it with water for the chemicals to disperse in they could react with each other causing precipitation and rendering some of the elements insoluble.

Just fill a bucket with x amount of water, let it sit for a day of its tap water. Then Add nutrient A, mix and let sit a minute, then add nutrient B, mix and let it sit a few more minutes. Then check ph!

Edit: this is if you don't have a tds meter, and are just adding a predetermined quantity of the nutrients.

That makes sense.. same would go for any? Sythetic or organic bottled nutes? Or is that specific to synthetic?

For instance, silicate supplements should always be added first and allowed to disperse for several minutes because they will bind up all your nutrients, making them insoluble and useless.

Cool.. I use roots organic, will have to read labels. I did know about the silica, but wasnt sure how long you had to wait, or really why it needed to be mixed first. Thanks for the info guys.
