Mars hydro 144x5 reflector drip hydro grow

Some of the clones had really good root structures going so I decided to transplant the best 4 of the 7. Gonna give there others till Friday, then take some more

The clones in soil are under a 70w HPS at the moment. Getting a LED sometime next week or the week after to use.

IMG_4917.JPG Anyone else seen this before? Thought it was rust spots but trying to fix that hasn't fixed the problem. Hydro is such a different beast than soil haha

I'm worried about foliar feeding it though will it's budding. Don't want to cause bud rot. I've been giving it a cal-mag supplement. Thanks for the input man! Appreciate it. Do you think maybe is getting enough cal but not mah from the nutes?

thats not magnesium deficiency, thats Calcium deficiency. little rusty looking spots is calcium, mag is whole patches along the edges of the leaf turning, definitely not mag

and as long as you keep some air flowng on the plant when you spray it you ought to be fine foliar feeding, just don't do it directly under your lights and let it dry good under some air.
and really, theres no need to spray directly on buds anyway, plants absorb 90% of what they absorb through stomata, which are on leaves, not calyxes. sugar leaves will have them, but spraying on sun leaves ought to be plenty, no need to spray buds directly

Yea I had no intention of spraying them directly. Just wasn't sure about any that might happen upon. I'm used to HID and soil. Cousin talked me into hydro and LED. Makes me feel like a newbie all over again. Thanks for the tips bud, appreciate it
 
This whole combo of hydro/LED is making me miss HPS & organic!
Anyways, we raised the light, plant responded bad so we dropped it back down some. Now the leaves are still doing this and curling as well. It can't be temp or humidity. Running a/c into the tent and venting out properly.
Any help or ideas would be awesome. Mars Hyrdro LED reflector and Hydro drip/bubble buckets
This is on the Afghan Kush, which up to this point had been steady eddy

That's still a calcium deficiency... the yellowing means it's getting worse...
get some Cal in your nute solution...

I do! Got the additive and upped it in the solution, even been making sure it's at a perfect PH for uptake.
Never had this problem with an good 'ol HPS!

And this is on the Afghan. Thought that might have been the problem, so tried to fix it before coming here. Not the NYC like last time. The NYC has bounced back now.
 
Can you give me a full plant pic... the only other thing that looks like this is potassium toxicity...
It affects new growth closest to the light..
 
see the way a lot of the leaf tips are curled down, but not the whole leaf? if it was the whole leaf that would probably be overwatering, just the tip is "the claw", a classic sign of too much N.
theres a lot of leaves with burnt tips. overfeeding.
the older growth is all very dark green. another sign of too much N.
eventually N toxicity will cause yellowing and necrosis very similar to N deficiency.

Afghani Kush is next two pics. Really surprised by the stretching of it in flower. The vigor is a lot more than most I've seen in Indicas/indica doms in pots this size in the past.

right about here is were they are starting to get nute burn flush and back the nutes off abit
