Gonna Be Buillding a small DIY DWC Cloner and covering a grow journal till they root.

1- 10 gallon Rubbermaid Tote
1- Air Pump
1- Air Tubing
Check Valve
Cutting Tool
Styrofoam

Going to Run to the Store and pick up a new tote and air pump.
I'll start the Picture How To when I return.

Any Feedback?

Got stuff coming in over the Internet. This air pump just doesn't do it for me.
Got inserts and net pots coming too. Didn't want to do styrofoam.

Check the DIY section or forum. I think it is under the first topic of General MJ Growing.

A member did a real nice one with a pump at the bottom with a PVC T to two 360 degree sprinkler heads misting. The hardest thing with a DIY like this is cutting the circles in the plastic and buying the round foam inserts to hold the clones.

One guy drilled 1/4" holes and used cheap black flexible pvc (almost as thin as a straw). Stick it in the holds and they clone cutting goes in the black PVC tube.

Thank you. I searched but I'm still figuring it out. The top system with sprayers is aero ponics, I like the simplicity of DWC. I already ordered neoprene inserts and 2" net pots, last time it only took 2 days but I ordered with a bunch of other stuff. I picked this up today though. I've made a few bubbleponic systems so I can understand It can be a pain. I'll either use a 1.75" hole saw or a compass and razor blade to cut the holes in the lids. Fit the inserts in, cut the bottoms out of the net pots, etc. I looked at the clear tubing I the black tub already but I'm going for something a little more neat. So far I'm only like 40$ in on my DIY Cloner and I was already ordering new air pumps, coco, net pots, etc. I ordered 20x each (net pot, insert)

Do you know if I'm going to need a humidity dome? I've read a lot of yes and no. The breeder for ocean genetics run his ez-Cloner without one and he's a pro in my eyes. I just don't know if a DIY will be the same. I'm not using this pump because I want mass o2.

Here it is. I liked how he used and PVC T for cheap sprinkler heads spraying 360. I fixed those enough times at my old house to know how well they mist.

I got bored and made a bubble cloner last week, I only put space for 8 clones as I only need 3 or 4 at a time, it's nothing special, just a 20ltr black storage tub, 10ltr/min air pump, 7watt reptile heat mat I had spare and a small fluorescent tube light.
I took some cuttings from a feminised Blueberry cheesecake plant that's 3 weeks into true flower.
The cloner is working better than I could ever have dreamed, 3 days after cutting the 8 and putting them in, 7 have got roots, I'm hoping the last one catches up and gives me 100% success on its first try. I think it's pretty impressive for a first go taking clones this way, I hope yours is as successful IMG_1654.JPGIMG_1659.JPGIMG_1660.JPG

Why do u have the dome over top? If you have the bottoms getting misted constantly you don't need the dome. I have 2 128 site ez cloners lol no dome

The YouTube video I watched had one and I had one spare that fit so I put it on, it seems to be working, also it's not getting misted inside, the clones are just in water with airstones just like a DWC set up

Really? It's better to have them slightly out the water with the air bubbles from the pump misting a coat of water over them. Was a cloning and juvenile plant manager for the largest concentrate company in Colorado

Oh ok, I was thinking of making one that misted everything inside but didn't have the parts there so made this one, if it didn't work I could of just ordered the bits that I needed to alter it, it seems to work fine though so far.
Sorry to the op for hijacking your thread, I'm interested to hear how yours works, from what you described it works the same as mine so hopefully you have the same results

No, it's just bubbles, they just look a bit dodgey half in light half in shadow. it was all cleaned out with a bit of h2o2, rinsed a couple times before I put ph'd water in it
