purple strains - lower temps?

ive heard that in order to bring out the purple in purple strains, the temps need to be low towards the end of flowering.

well first of all, can someone suggest how i do this? i have 1 purple under my 600w along with another normal indica.

how can i drop the temps and still let it receive light (and heat from a 600w) without letting my other plant die?

also, i guess since the weather is getting colder that those temps might be ok. what temp is ideal for making the purple show? on the grow faq it says not to let plants go below 50 in night time temps. so do i just stay around 50-55ish?

i want this plants buds to be as purple as possible.

cheers

but then my other plant(s) are gonna suffer....

worth just leaving outside over night? will be cold and dark. but im not sure if outside at night is classed as complete darkness.

wonder if i could just make like a small grow room for 1 plant out of cardboard box or something...

Outside? doubt thatll help, thats what sucks in having a few plants and one needs more attention then others, its probably going to become 1 or another.
