Outdoor harvest drying Indoors question

Hey everyone I had a question a about bring a harvest from outdoors and drying inside near my indoor grow.

This outdoor grow had alot of pest problems spider mites etc... used neem oil soap etc to keep spider mites off killed about 95% or so but I am coming up on harvest time so I didn't want to spray anymore. What can I do to make sure I don't spread any pests to my indoor grow. I don't know how rampant these things get so I wanted to make sure I Don't infest my indoor grow.

Don't do it. They get everywhere so easy. I even go outside in the yard in spring, summer or fall I change all my clothes especially socks and shoes before going near my grow room. They toss little webs in the air to get around and can drift everywhere. The eggs can lie dormant for ages.

Just takes one.

I just got done fighting spider mites in the drying shed. I had no mites on my plants then a buddy help me harvest but he came to my place from another place bringing me mites. They are a nightmare the only way I could keep them under control was to spray them with alcohol every couple hours. You can kill them with heat if you have a place you can get 116'+ and keep it there for hours or you can freeze them, get a magnifier and make sure they're dead. "Big Time eliminator" works great indoors it doesn't smell and isn't toxic and doesn't leave residue. be careful and good luck.

I don't have very good weather conditions or areas to setup a greenhouse so I'm kind of stuck bringing inside.

Thank you for the great advice. I think I'm going to do the heat up to 116+ method. Would it be ok to Lock them down in a grow tent (Not being used) and aim for those temps. I imagine this would also dry the buds out quicker?

I didn't do the heat just read about it, I think one of those temp readers you point and it tells the temp that way you can tell the temp of the buds and use the magnifier to see when the little fuckers croak and the eggs turn brown and die then just dry them normal. Hang them on wire so they can get circulation. They shouldn't dry too much faster because it would only be a couple hours of heat plus they are full of moisture the first couple days anyways.

I know they use that heat method to kill bed bugs so it ought to work for mites.

I've heard of guys flooding their grow rooms with CO2 for a couple hours every 3 days for four times. The CO2 kills the adults through lack of O2 but not the eggs so like spraying to kill mites every 3 days they gas the little demons instead. Not everyone has a CO2 tank tho.
