can u give us the efficiency at different wattages? I.e, 80 50, etc.If you have plenty of air movement should work well. What wattage would you run on each bar?

C type most efficient for 150 watts per cob@robincnn
Would it be possible to run a Version 7 Vero 29 @ around 150 watts each?
4x in a 4x4' tent?
Do you happen to have a graph displaying the output efficiency at that wattage or have a link? I can't seem to find any info on the V7 chips, so many good graphs round here...!
Next batch in Jan. Depends on how soon this one sells out.next batch this month or next batch far off?
Hi Robin,
What driver do u suggest for these boards? Heatsinks from heatsink usa will be way too spensive, and i doubt baking sheets will be enough if u crank em up. Any other ideas?
APC-35-350 for single board 35 wattsHLG 150H C1400 2-4 boards works well
HLG 240H C2100 . 3-5 boards works well
HLG 320H C 2800. 4-6 boards works well.
The current SST X is drilled for 100mm glass lens. Khatod SST X will be available around 19th. For Khatod Silicone lens i recommend Vero 29 Gen7.was that bar build ever completed? I wanted to pick up 4 cobs + silicone lens from NGL, what brand do you guys recommend? (citizen / Vero)
Nice build pics. thanks for sharingAre you recommending these for all stages of growth or just for veg?
How did these boards compare to the COB's, kinds looks like a naked Nexlight veg light lol..........
Way more trouble than the past. Its like 3 jobs these days and all of them taking more and more time. Will need to quit 1 of the jobs. 2016 is about to fly by. No vacation....hey robin...all ok?... i hope all its ok....
...but i imagine less problem than the past... my best wishes for you and your famili...
Saludos
Thanks robin, left u a message on your siteHeatsinks
The boards need 99V-108V depending on current.
For upto 40 watts no heatsink is required. 400ma drivers hard to find so 350ma and 35 watts.
If you bolt it down on wood then the board may be able to handle only 20 watts. If you attach it to a metal plate then may be upto 50 watts.
This heatsink USA profile suits the boards well. 1ft length per board and you can run 80 watts. Get an extra inch on each side and 100 watts per board.

3000K 80 CRI. Veg and flowering both.
They may look like nextlight but these boards are latest Samsung 561C. Nextlight is a generation behind.
You can make your own nextlight style light with these boards. Yours will just be better than them.

About 105 Watts per COB
Thanks. I meant C Versions, as the other are less efficient. Its possible, but is it practical to run 150w and try to passively cool it? Sounds like some sort of active cooling would be necessary at those currents. Bridgelux website has all the data sheets for the Vero 29s. But there are also 3 different versions of the gen 7 Vero remember.

SST X comes in packing to avoid shipping damage.Yeah right when I need to finish lighting the other half of my 5x9 you don't have the 140mm Pin sinks anymore so I have no clue what direction to take lol..........without those sinks I cannot build the same lights and with how delicate those pins can be I'm out on the splayed design I just can't see that lasting longterm if in shipping it doesn't come all banged up........................
5° @75wpc and 8°@105 sounds pretty considerable. Infact that's almost a beatdown.Vero 29 Gen7 50V 2.1A -105 Watts

mounting holes on 2 opposite side just like the old heatsinks. How would these mount on angled aluminum? Would the Khatod lenses work? Can still run 3590's?
