There's a difference between a Googler and a Researcher. I actually explore the concepts and questions I look to find the information for in pretty good depth. I don't just Google everything, I actually study and apply. The internet, books, class, word of mouth, etc. I'm also a college student and was top of my college Bio class last semester. AP Bio in 9th Grade as well (that was a decade and a half ago, of course.) But you can't just act like anyone who studies their shit is stupid or uneducated; it's pretty much the polar opposite.
Anyone who fails or refuses to investigate the technique, purpose, and efficacy of their own methods and alternatives is much more a fool than one who does.
You're jumping to conclusions again.
AP bio, 9'th grade, 10'th grade Chem, 11'th physics. The only other student "ahead" in the sciences became my best friend (in Chem), his mother was a lead Biochemist at Amgen. I entered 9'th in the 1'st year that LAUSD changed HS from 10-12, to 9-12. My mother brought my transcripts and sat with the counselor to ensure that I was appropriately placed. They still fucked up. I ended up in regular English, History, etc. I was mellow and "go with the flow", so I stuck with it, until halfway through the semester when I was given the GATE test, and they apologized (I still have the highest score from that HS). Uni and post grad completed many moons ago.
Anyhow, I share that with you in hopes to lend credence when I say that none of it really makes a difference in regards to "grow know". Sure, in time you will garner knowledge that will help make "rhyme and reason" of certain articles, but the true extent of it's implications will not be realized without application. This takes time. You can read all day, but that won't make you a pro fisherman, Olympic athlete, Chef, NASCAR driver, porn star, Guitar Hero, Neurosurgeon...
Years of applied knowledge within a given craft, "practice", this is the only way.
You've got a handful under your belt, not an authority on the subject yet.
Like the great "Mighty Eagle" said; "Wisdom is not something that is given, but something that is.... attained.". (I have kids)
Don't take any of this as a "dig", and don't get butt hurt over "Googler" comments (wasn't even directly referring to you, but "experts, scientists, and Googlers" in general).
