You can't leave a door open due to light leak issues, unless you are running auto's with lights 24/7. You need to find a way to bring in fresh air, and bring out old air while preventing light leak.

cat will eat up a plant quick, not to say each and every cat eats cannabis but if it has access to your grow area and plants don't be surprised to come home one day and find all your hard work scattered around the floor and a very high cat on your hands....secure your grow area for sure....then again...some cats can't or wont be bothered with it. Pet's having access to grow area is just bad all the way around IMO because should strive to keep grow area as clean as possible without pet dander or any fleas/mites they might be carrying.....never know so it best to not take chances.

There is a cat at my place and have to keep the door open for fresh air. I just framed in some wood and stapled screen to it and put it in front of my door when its open. Works great.

I have two cats , every time I take my babies out the tent to work on them or clean the tent those fuckers are face deep in my plant sniffing around.

My cats know I'm alpha so they don't fuck with my stuff. (When I'm home)

But if your grow area is open ya the cat will have a field day

My autos and plants are in veg and running 24/0 but my flowering plant is in a tent without any light leak

Great advise guys I will find a way to seal up the room and keep the door closed I'm thinking an a/c unit in the window and ducked taped to hell that way I can leave the door closed 24/7 and the cat will never see the plants and my girl is very happy and thanks y'all

My cat never fucked with my grow and had open access to it. Only real worry is them wanting to use the pot as a litter box. Or when they're seedlings.

Real worry is if it's outside pet then all the mites and shit from your yard will come in.
