i have to do the same and I made it easy diluting everything more and mixing 25 gallons for the cleabing lady. she is comming every 3 days and I made it so she can dump the right amount and have them wick up. notice I have feeders etc, but my expierience i would rather have a human di it even if its way off my drip schedule.

For sure i would keep eye on thing myself if possible, but thats not an option from time to time.

How many plants? Maybe with a drip with a 50 gallon drum and having your lights 3' away and 4 plants, you might get away with it. I am running a drip for 10 plants (3' high) right now with a 27 gallon res, and I have to fill it every 3 days, plus add nutes and adjust PH. Good luck without help. Really, I hope all turns out well for you, but growing pot is an everyday thing. I go away from time to time also, but have a GOOD friend that I trust to take care of them, or else I would freak out for more than a week.

Let me explain.
It's a micro setup. 2'x2'5'. I'm thinking of running 4 plants in 1gallon pots, or even slightly smaller. 2-3 weeks veg time. will use DIY COB fixture ˇ200w dimmable.
And if i drain to waste i dont have to worry about pH asjusting that much. But i have to have bigger res for nutes.
Plan is to put 2 pumps in to that res and feed plants alternately from one pump and next time from another, just incase one fails.
And as plants grow i can adjust the freeding online ( to adjust how long those pumps work )
And if i get back I can adjust nutes as needed.

screw all that, run them via wick, simplicity, you dont want clogged shit. this is simple and the plants will get water when they need it through capilary action. . are you in pure coco. i use a dryer overflow pan and oil driane things. DO A GRAVITY fed. I do it a lot. soo easy it will buy you 2 weeks. ill tell you the kiss meathod if interested. pm me.

Something the OP hadn't mentioned yet is exactly which two weeks of bloom is he taking off? First two is rough because of stretch, last two is easy. which is it?

I've seen good drain to waste systems that are left for 1 week, with really good results. But those wick systems aren't doing anywhere as good. But if you have lnks to threads or vis or anything like that pls post a link.
Nothing is set in stone at the moment. If i find better and more reliable system i will consider it! ;)
And i'm familiar with KISS. ;)

Plan is to set it up so i'm there in the first week of flower or first 2 weeks. I have alot of genes and i will try to find strain with not that much strech.
But in the end it ll comes to trial and error as always. :D :D
i have an Nest, bluetooth shit, it doesnt work if you have to be super stealth. Dude build one in a dryer frame
What do you mean that it doesnt work when you have to be super stealth? I found couple of timers that you can set over wifi. Where ever you are. It's not like i have to be stealth and i cant visit my grow room thats like 20ft away and i feed them over bluethooth.

No no no.. :D Not there yet. :D
I would like to get everything set up and tested for the new year. Thats why i made this thread to gather info and ideas and learn from others mistakes if possible. And make mistake myself and learn from them and share them with RUI.

If you'll be there for the first couple of weeks, you have a perfect opportunity for a dry run; set everything up like you're leaving, then watch it closely for 2 weeks and see what happens. Fix whatever breaks and you'll have a decent chance of success.

Yep, thats the plan. And asjust/fix if needed. And then give it a shot. Trial & error
