He knew how to manipulate media, which was the fundamental aspect I was alluding to.
The world would be vastly different if he lived an extra 20 years. He would have grabbed Twitter and Facebook by the pussy and made them do things we can't even imagine (or else we would have done them already, if that wasn't obvious). I can't even begin to conceive of how he would've handled PNAC and Dubya! For him to have lived to see Trump might have been a stretch, but not impossible. Then again, maybe Obama wouldn't have been elected?

I believe he had that much power, potentially. Or at least the power of a Late Show Comedy host.

Zappa for President not so much...that's for serious aural cavity awareness, but completely harmless on children and small pets.
