How can they ban black powder? I used to make pounds of that stuff back in the 90s when I was into pyrotechnics. My homemade fireworks were famous! I remember setting a field on fire with my "Roman Cannon". And the blisters from sparklers the size of corn dogs... But thanks to the a-hole terrorists, all that stuff got shut down.
As far as guns go, is it a "restriction" to require people to register their firearms? Is it a restriction to allow the ATF to have a searchable database of firearms transactions? Is it a restriction to allow the CDC to study gun violence? If those things are restrictions, then yes, I am in favor of them.
Do I think "assault style" weapons should be banned? Nope. It doesn't make sense. More people are killed by handguns than all other types of firearms -- combined. So should we ban pistols? Again, the answer is no -- but it gets more complicated...
