This is very interesting. This summer I amended FFOF with Seabat (0-17-0) and that plant was a beast! Since the happy frog dry fert is probably made for FFOF, it might work even better.I don't know how much it cost where you are but the FFOF here I get it at the nursery for $14 a bag. The 1.5cu ft bag. If you get your FFOF and mix in the happy frog fruit and flower dry fert to prep from the get go you will have nothing to do but add water in veg and probably a week or so in flower. The package has directions for continued top dress when needed. This is about as good as it gets for the money.
Now depending where you live you might want to check out the build a soil website they have various pre made soils and amendments etc. But some instances the shipping can be killer. It all depends. I just recently mixed three batches of soil using peat moss compost cow manure worms happy frog dry fert oyster shell powder ewc and kelp powder with the mykos and then added my worms and cover crop seeds to the pots. No issues at all but if you don't need so much soil nothing beats a bag of ffof and the happy frog dry fert. Advice, the bag on Amazon with prime cost me the same as the local one at the nursery the caveat being the nursery bag is double the size. So pay attention to what you buy and where.
my previous grow was ffof with happy frog dry fert mixed in, and the top dressed at 4 weeks with the same happy frog dry fert,, and Water Only the whole ride,, and the buds are some of the best i have in my stash,, 3 plants yeilded 8.5 ounces dry that was under 200 watts of cree cxa cobsThis is very interesting. Just ask where their urea comes from and ask why they lost their organic cert. Trust me when i tell you, they lost a lot of customers when they lost their organic certs and started calling their soil an ambiguous name like "Smart Naturals" which can literally mean anything they want it to.Reply from Fox Farms RE using sewage sludge:

You do know using any kind of mineral automatically negates your product from being OMRI certified.Just ask where their urea comes from and ask why they lost their organic cert. Idc if anyone talks bad about ffof because like I said, biggest plants I ever grew.Folks that are hell bent on bad mouthing products they don't like; do not let a little thing like facts and research play into their hate posts/comments. They are definitely experts on "what I heard" or "what I know just because"...lol
I'm gonna be growing 8 c99 plants using 2 400 watt lights. Seeds shud be here anyday now, unless they get interceptedIdc if anyone talks bad about ffof because like I said, biggest plants I ever grew.
happy frog dry nute will not burn your plants, follow the instructions on the bag,, the plants will only consume what they need,, thats how these products work,,Hmmm happy frog dry fert. I'm gonna look that up. Does it have instructions? I don't want to add too much and burn
It makes the grow much simpler and I can tell you that from experience. Thanks Tim, that looks so much better than buying Fox farm liquid nutes
If you really want to have easy and simple then this is the path , I am halfway through another water only grow, come check out my threadAwesomeness it's cheaper too
First grow, ran a SIP bucket, 5 gallon DIY, FFOF, Happy FROG to prep soil. Vegged for 8 weeks under T5's, then flowered briefly for a week or so under an LED, that was quickly swapped to a 315 CMH to finish the grow. Water only until first week of flower where I top dressed once and then water only the rest of the ride. And that was it.Awesomeness it's cheaper too
