Hey guys, I fell off the map for awhile but am back to make grow log. I'm going to be making it detailed, mainly for my own sake but to help others as well. I'm not very experienced, so anyone who's like to stop by is very welcome! This first page is just to get others opinions, then I'm going to update how I did everything.

Equipment:

4x4 Tent Veg (4Ft 8 Lamp T5)
Small Room Flower (600W Phantom II HPS/MH)

Potential Strains:(VERY open to opinions)
Goji OG
Sunshine Daydream
Kosher Kush Cross

La Confidential
Holy Grail Kush
Kushberry

Soil Recipe: ( Will update with final set recipe tonight, want to get some other opinions)

Sphagnum Pest Moss/Perlite & Lava Rock/EWC

Alfalfa meal
Kelp meal
Fish bone meal
Crab shell meal
Oyster shell flour
Glacial Rock Dust

Miscellaneous:
Peruvian Seabird Guano
Diameticous Earth

Plan:
I am going to start them in Solo Cups, then transplant into few gallon plastic, then into 15gallon fabric. Not exactly sure how many can fit under my 600W, could do like two 15gal and two or three 5 gallon fabrics?

Feeding/Other: (Also looking for suggestions)

Compost Teas
Nutrient areas
Top Dressing
Homegrown Aloe Vera
Looking at BioAg FulPower

Summary/Questions:

1. I want to have a cover crop, what's a simple effective one?

2. Suggestions on Soil Recipe?

I can give you a billion soil suggestions...but most importantly...do you plan on recycling the soil, or doing a no till? just want it alive through veg/flower then tossing?

as far as strains go, i've ran all but the kushberry...Goji is great but doesn't really shine till you run it through the F2/F3 stages...SSDD is the absolute TITS here in my area...and probably every other area its in...really depends on reasons for growing...personal/rent&gas supplement..again once we figure out your soil situation strains will be ez :D

Thanks for taking the time man, very much appreciated. I don't have a personal opinion yet, whatever works is fine with me. No till has caught my attention through the last year, reusing soil is a bonus.

Best case scenario..I'd like to mix up the soil, let it cook. Toss some worms in it, use a cover crop and do occasional SST/Aloe/Teas Etc..

I've grown a number on the list, but not all. I would go right back to the Holy Grail Kush if it wasn't such a friggin stink bomb from the 2nd week of veg til it's finished. I had a room full of them (24) but I've still never had a strain that smelled so strong so early and only got worse thru flowering. Everyone was really pleased with the smoke otherwise.........I have 3 Kosher Kushes in their 6th week of flowering and they are looking really nice too.

I'm still sitting on a pack of goji too.

I actually just finished up a sour kosher by DNA and she is super nice. Nice node spacing, great calyx to leaf ratio and a berry/fruity smell and taste with a punch. I'm running the clone right now and, given she makes it through flower this time without late flower bananas, I'll keep her around for a spell.
