We want to preface this by saying that we understand the customer's feelings and emotions in regard to this transaction. We'd like to respond to this thread as it represents information that we think needs clarification in regard to our efforts to resolve issues and live up to standards we present to our customers:

We state that we ship most orders in 2 to 3 business days, although it's usually quicker. In this case the customer ordered on the 11th (Saturday) and we shipped out their entire order less one item on the 14th (Tuesday--2 business days). The last item arrived a day late at our warehouse due to shipping delays and we shipped it out on the 15th (Wednesday--3 business days). Customer lives on the east coast, and selected Ground Shipping, while we're in Arizona, which is 5 business days from their location.


Secondly, we spoke with the customer about the duplicate transaction they saw on their account. We checked our system, but even after talking to our gateway merchant professional, they stated that there was no duplicate transaction and that it must be a problem with the card issuers bank (email message below in quotes, which was forwarded to said customer). Our guess was that the customer's bank registered a credit card authorization and the credit card sale as different transactions. I told the customer we'd be happy to speak with their bank to clear up any issues if that in fact was the problem, but they declined.


Had it been our fault, we would have accepted full responsibility for any charges the customer would have incurred due to our failure. We encourage the customer to allow us to contact their bank to assure that the overdraft fee is reversed due to the bank's error.

Per our conversation, the transaction for XXXXXXXX was only processed once. I am not able to locate two transactions for this customer. There is a discrepancy with her bank and amount of authorizations that were released but that does not mean we charged her twice. There was only one transaction that was authorized and released to Authorize.net for funding. Your customer will need to call the card issuing bank and have those funds released that are still in a pending state.

LMAO, that's funny how they got right on this claiming certain things which aint true.. No shipping in the USA takes 11+ days don't care.. Got my lights from china in7 days after placing the order.. But like I said it was my experience and well they wont ever get my money again.. never selected any means of transport they said 3-4 days I would have my stuff when placing my order on Saturday the 11th, here it is the 21st and its not even in my state, Hows this my fault, hows t my fault they overdrafted my account because they put a hold on 600 bucks and then directly pulled out my 600 bucks, NOT MY FULT... Ant to you jackasses saying isound stupid, well go F ur self, This has been a horrible transaction.. Everyone(well 4-5 grows) were talking bout how good there lights are and service.. Well that's not the case.. Apparently those are just the workers or friends of the company.. Just like it didn't take long fr them to respond here.. So im satisfied got my point across even tho there are a few, tards, I think most of ya agree.. NOT MY FAULT..

Plus the whole delivery fee was outrageous considering I only paid shipping on air pots and the 400w ballast shipping was 59 bucks..LMAO cmon no need for people from the company to respond its the same 2-3 people u work for them, we get it ur mad ur reputation were it matters will be hurt.. Will go to ICMAG and AUTOFLOWER.NET as well and let my people over there no to.. Cant wait to get my stuff to see how my does and well doesn't work I sure half will be busted, they way this is going

I never choose grond shiping you said 3-4 days after i paid.. Was supposed to ship out monday. Never went out till tuesday, then pots go out wed's.. Cmon... I should have had my stuff by thursday accordin to the first person i talked to on the phone.. That would have been 4 days.. Not fucking 10 days since ordering, and loosing 72 bucks in overdrafting fees because of you.. Your company wont be getting mine or anyone i knows business again.. Once ret is reuind so aint the company, so i suggest not doing this to, to many more people.. Well hopefully i get my shit today and its what i ordered... Who orders this tuff and doesnt mind it coming in 10+ days... Not me...

Yeah so I got my TENT my Ballast and a Cool tube that's NOT compatible with Quantum ballast.. The didn't send me the 400w hortilux blue 95$.. Im just lost for words.. So to sum things up.. I received my stuff 11 days after placing order(LED light from china here in 6 days), they double charged my card over drafting my account 72 bucks.. They charge me 59 bucks to ship air pots(12) and a 400w ballast)..lol... They sent me a tent a ballast and cool tube no bulb and the ballast isn't compatible with the damn cool tube.. Cool tube was supposed to have the extended wings doesn't have any wings just a tiny piece of metal stopping the light from going upwards.. Today is12 days might get air pots lol, JUSt plain crazy.. And for you damn jackass who say its my fault how is that possible.. The worst lace ever.. They just lost thousands of dollars because we were going to order 4 or 400w LED's.. Not to mention everyone I know..

Hey, just so everyone knows I have a adapter on its way from them.. Nate is trying to make up for this bad experience.. So I was prob just the 1 person out of the last 1000 transactions to have a bad dealing with them..

Hey, if theres a MOD watching this thread can you cancel it please.. Nate has made things right by overnighting my adapter and threw in a T-Shirt.. I did find the bulb it was rolled up in bubble wrap inside the cool-tube it got thrown out at first just thought it was protection lol..

never had a problem with them and they have several warehouses around the country so shipping never takes more than 3 days.

Theyve even shipped me replacement parts for my reverse osmosis filter when i broke a few of them assembling it.

Free shipping and about 10 bucks of free parts.

I also had an hps bulb that blew literally days before its 1 year warranty.

Didnt have the original packaging, nothing but the order confirmation on my account and they replaced it for free. Cost me about 3 bucks to ship it out to them which they said they could reimburse me but i didnt even bother with it considering i got a $40+ bulb for free.

I've spent countless hours looking at different grower supply websites and every time, I always end up back at HTG to place my order.
Good prices, a house brand, refurb stuff, and I can tell you from personal experience that their warranty process is easy. I had had a ballast go bad and they got me right, easy as pie.
 
Half the 20 Grow Crew Brand lamps I bought from GrowersHouse.com failed within 3 months and they were willing to warranty them incl. shipping BUT when I said I would like to replace them all due to obvious reasons they charged me restocking fee for all remaining still working lamps (Shit one I pulled new from the box failed in 5 minutes). In one instance I called to report a failed lamp and the salesman said they have problems with those lamps and sent me a Sun Blaze lamp as a replacement. The cost of Sun Blaze was more, so I called and suggested I would pay the difference of the 11 or so working lamps but not shipping cause I felt it was unfair. After a month of run around they decided to charge a restocking fee and not offer any discount on replacement or shipping. I took the offer I could not refuse.. found Sun Blaze on Amazon at the same price ( 1000bulbs.com BTW was the vendor) and VISA got me back every penny from GrowersHouse.com ... Hey I always say Fuck all the Mother Fuckers
Look I understand the cost of business but I also understand the cost of doing business & being a slave to corporate greed sucks. Command Your Own Excellence, have a plan and a back up plan and anyone who grows 5 harvests a year does not have time for corporate greed to control their livelihood.

By way of counterpoint to the bashing in this thread, I've dealt with growershouse. com on multiple occasions, all have been examples of how things should be done; they double checked that I was getting the lamps I wanted, ran the checklist of things to watch out for with them (860W CDM Allstart lamps are finicky), and replaced some that broke during shipping, no questions asked.

They treated me very well and I have no reservations about recommending them to anyone.

Eh, to be completely fair, there are people who can complain about ANY business out there, so take the reviews with a grain of salt.

I always use plantlightinghydroponics because they carry sunlight supply and regular shipping is always 2 days to me at competitive prices.

But I ordered a new LEC 315 remote system from Growers House (they carry a galaxy 120v ballast I did not know existed and a remote reflector for it) 2 days before Black Friday. I got 15% extra off and it came in exactly 1 week to Michigan.

It was packed extremely well and has given me no problems so far.

It was actually packed much better than my usual online retailer and I would definitely order from them again.

Bonus they even chimed in on this thread

I stated facts too. Different people had different experiences. After seeing the companies rep's post and having been a sales manager for over 20 years myself I will surely trust Growers House with more of my business.

There will always be some problems in business. It is how the company handles things overall that impresses me. Not a couple of isolated complaints.

Hey don't know if this is the right section or not but just thought I would give some insight on WHO not to order from.. I placed a order Last SATURDAY now 9 days and still haven't received my order Hell it hasn't even arrived in my state yet.. Total Bull shit.. They said 2-3 business days it will have been atleast 10 days prolly 11 days to get my order.. Not only that but they sent it in 2 different packages and the 2nd left a day later than the other.. WORST of all the charged my debit card TWICE...... This caused overdraft and they did nothing but say it wasn't there fault.. They put a hold on my card for the amount of the order PLUS they pulled the money.. So for 2 days account was over drafted 72bucks.. Now lets see if when it ever gets here if my lights and everything is as it should be, doubt it from the way this transaction has went.. Well if you are getting new equipment I would suggest staying away from them..
all of this is over a measly 72 dollars,,, good lord

if banks were in the habit of losing money they would not last 1 Day in business,, banks happen to be very accurate at what they do
