The best way to get information is by asking open questions and listening to the response. Expect to hear the truth and home in on any inconsistencies. The only American-style lager I drink are the ones I rack. I have a Euro pale lager ( similar to Grolsch ) and a black oat stout ready to pull in January. I might hold the stout until April, see how much flavor this charred bourbon barrel gives.
