I gotta say no to this.
The reality we absorb is tainted with our own feelings and opinions built in. We skew reality to suit our concieved notion of what it should be. We remember what happened as what we wanted to happen almost instantaneously, and everyone else remebers it differently. Not one person will tell the same story after any event because their reality isnt what theyve seen, but what we've expirienced and remebered.

This is true.

I used to own a bar. On one New Year's eve, with many friends and family in attendance,
I had a lesbian claim to be my wife, introduced a stranger to my best friend as "the biggest cunt I know", stopped a chick fight, thought I was gonna have to kick a scotsman's ass and walked 5 miles home stopping at every bar between mine and home. It was a very exciting night.

The thing is the next day I talked with each of the folks involved in my adventure, except the cunt, I never saw her again after that night and not one of them told the same story as it actually happened.

You should have known when you posted these words that there would be problems.

This site is doomed.

I remember when i started on riu the moderators would jump into threads and break up fights. A message would come on from gwn saying "please relax or warnings will be issued", or "any more name calling will...".....

People got banned every couple days for being disruptive little asshats.

Its to the point where the site is taken so unseriously that the main goal of, well i cant say most, but a good sized group of users, is to destroy threads and intentionally derail them. Before it was totally acceptable to start a thread and as it progressed in a foreward motion, if a giant dick planet was posted on your thread, youd report it, and it was removed.

Now if you stand up for the integrity of the site, against certain bully members, hit report to clean the crap up, or dont run with or fit in with the mob of shit thowing monkeys, youre hunted and taunted.

Heres a philosophical question for you lime. Do You think the moderation on this site is ever going to get any better? Or are we doomed to see dick planets posted instead of intellectual conversation from intelligent members because it's easier and more acceptable?

I work in a field where i see dieing people everyday,, i drive down streets in neighborhoods,, and as i drive i ask myself,, how many people are in those houses right now,, who are on thier deathbed,, and the answer is many,,, sometimes i run across the hospice nurses on thier laptops,, and i get to see the active dieing lists,, and I will tell you,, if you were to walk into rooms on a daily basis like me,, and put your hands on people who have not ate or drank for several days, it messes with your head,, it messes with your soul,, and you begin to think there must be something more
