I live on the other side of the country and havent seen my mum for a year but its her 70'th coming up.
If i go to see her for a party of a week or two will things be effected? im guessing thats around the time i should start flowering.

wtf you asking? turn the lights off for two weeks or what?

keep the lights on 24/7 for veg, 12/12 for flower. two weeks away is balsy though, asking for trouble, hope not, but thats my experience

since im using coco and leds the water seems to stay pretty high level in the pots after feeding them so i will do that, when using hps i had to feed more often but with leds and no heat, = less feeding or less water so ill give it a try.

I will leave lights on give them a god water/feed and leave water in the saucers/trays enough for 2 weeks. But if i have to decide between stupid plants and my mom special occasion/day i will choose my mom over anything!! Go be by her side bro fuvk the plants!! U can always grow more!!!

when you gotta leave? in a couple weeks/months?
time to start ignoring your plants today and see how long it takes to fuck them up before you leave?

2 weeks is a hella long time, you could get away with 1 week leaving them in the dark and well watered before leaving, after that it's a crap shoot whether they'd come back/survive.

Maybe light timers and some sort of water drip timer deal with a pump or gravity drip.
Drippers would work in veg, even those Blu-Mat's for a week. Problem with drippers in flowering or for any longer than a week would be having a large enough reservoir to give them water. Leaving them in the dark for 2 weeks though, not sure what they'd do. I've left them in the dark for 6 days and they didn't look like they even knew anything was wrong. More recently I just shut down my flowering room (did a large run and timed it to finish before I went away) and kept only veggers going, freshly transplanted into 3gal from 1gal pots, then had my son water them once, turned veg lights down to 16/8 to reduce water uptake/evaporation further. I'll likely do that again if heading out for a week or longer, it's relatively easy to keep veggers going if you up-pot into large containers just before leaving, then drippers or someone trustworthy popping in once or twice.
