Haha

Our gov'na should hopefully do the recreational thing soon. Theres so much potential in the money market alone, not to. :wall:
We're one of the states that went medical this past year.
We've been 21+ rec over a year but it's still weird walking in to a store looking for deals and discounts and shit, even coupons for weed..

Price a prebuilt cab that size. The metal ones. Like $1500-2000. Screw that.

Its cheaper to build. I was going to get a tent but found that oak cabinet. It blends in better than a tent. Its thicker and muffles the fan better.
Well I'm a girl and not as handy...tent and leds seemed so much easier..

Yours too if you got a thread or I guess post it here.

I'm not knocking it. Everyone has thier own way.

Don't use being a girl though as a reason not to build something. I worked with females in the military. I was a structural mechanic and body and paint guy. Females are just as capable at building or fixing things.

I was under a time crunch, but don't get me wrong, I've done my share remodeled houses before, (only girl in the family)it was all the ducting hoods and ballasts seemed so confusing that made me opt for the quick fix. Besides I had already started everything before I found all you fine people with such great info ;)

Only issue I could see the carbon filter causing is it will probably suck up some nutrients and make the ppm reading inaccurate if you try and measure the runoff. Could also cause some kind off issue if the roots try to grow into it as the nutrients could get locked in the carbon? Question mark because it sounds logical, but I have done no research on that as I have never done it lol . Imagine you will transplant into another pot before that's an issue anyways unless you just stuck the seedlings in your final pot from the start. Anyways not the end of the world wish you the best in your grow!

Feel your pain on the tent thing but don't think that has anything to do with man or woman it's a PITA to setup a 5x5x8 solo especially if you don't have a step ladder. I now have a step ladder lol after the tent was setup....

I should have video taped me trying to put my flower tent together.... no step stool, just a lot of frustration, cussing, and wishing I had help. They should put instructions for tent building while stoned...IMG_1251.JPG
end result, room is really small so I couldn't get a better angle..

lol, thanks for the thoughts and the luck.

And nice tent, Lit. Looks like a nice little size.
A friend of mine went tent as well, but it ended up being a huge cube that was pretty much the whole size of the room it was in. :o

Ah, to add a bit more, I probably will end up just lifting it up out of the pot and taking it out, once the roots grab a nice hold of the soil. It's been less than 24 hours since putting the seeds in the soil, so, nothing to really do about it for a good little minute.

Yeah I put mine in my office with the tought that I'm in here the most so why not. Now there is no actual work room... debating moving to the garage but it's 34 degrees outside at the moment, don't want to freeze my plants.

Lol @Litthefrog prob shouldn't tell on myself but I actually watched a video of 3 guys stoned out of their mind putting my exact tent up and failing miserably. Goes without saying I was smoking wile watching this hour long video and thinking how stupid they were. Then I put my tent together it's 8' high my ceiling is 8'1" after 4 hours I finally got it up and felt like a ass for laughing at the guys in the video.

I have 6 seeds to work with, two at a time. The first two are germinated and now in the soil, less than 24 hours ago. Only one pot has the carbon filter in it. (still laughing at myself for that, ill never get over that... lol)

haha! ...umm..can't help ya there lol. Just make sure you plant double what you want. In case there are any set backs.
That is fantastic advice! Oooooor, you can grow a few extra to have a little early harvest...If I have the seeds/clones, I like putting a few along the edges of the light footprint.

That would blow my mind. Still illegal here. I grow because I figured it is less risk than trying to buy every so often. Plus there is nothing but brick weed here. Some indoor but $20 a gram. Screw that.

I make medicine also.

I suspect the carbon in the filter will act like biochar. Biochar is charcoal from fire that you charge with nutrients. If its not charged it will rob nutrients.

That carbon will rob nutrients until it is loaded. It would then release it over time.

That's just my suspicion. It might not act like biochar.

I have thrown some old carbon from filters in my compost pile.
