I like and agree with what he conveyed tonight. He's keeping his campaign promises and honoring his contract with America that we voted for. Make America Great Again. America First!

Maybe his approval rating will tick up to 33% for a day.

Great approval rating, the best ever.

You saw it on Jan. 20th. An amazing crowd. Millions. Never bigger, except for every other president.
He MEANT among republican presidents..no?..he was just given this to say, but he DID see it somewhere..no?..well, you have to agree it WAS a big crowd though?..right?

For Trump, it was a good speech. Typing that makes me think about how low the bar has gotten in the last several months. It was good because Trump did not make a total ass of himself. That will have to wait until we realize that his words were mostly hollow. By this time, a President usually sets out some sort of legislative plan but Trump, as usual, is not prepared for that. The promises he has made about healthcare are undeliverable. His budget is going to be a disaster. Republicans in Congress are going to have to decide whether or not to let him borrow another $10 trillion or not.

The saddest thing about his rumored budget proposal is cutting the Department of State and USAID by 37%. It isn't a lot of money when you compare it to something like military spending. Pie said that Trump is a counter-puncher and he is proving it now by landing a solid hit into America's face. This is pretty clearly a response to the uprising in which over 1000 DoState employees signed a letter of dissent about Trump's foreign policy. Once again, Donald is showing that his self-love is much greater than that of his country. Sad.

This is the America our enemies want to see, especially the terrorists. The type that compensates for a bumbling foreign policy with liberal use of our military.

Yeah, he didn't fall on his face, but the words he said last night pale in comparison to the leadership of some great men and women who have guided us in the past. Nobody will remember his speech for long. Trifling words from a trifling man.

I for one really cannot abide by his little extemporaneous additions to the speech. You can really see his total lack of complexity when he does it.

For example... (none of the transcripts include these little idiocies so I am making them up)

We've lost more than one-fourth of our manufacturing jobs since NAFTA was approved, and we've lost 60,000 factories since China joined the World Trade Organization in 2001. Oh, they were leaving so fast... so fast

Crumbling infrastructure will be replaced with new roads, bridges, tunnels, airports and railways gleaming across our beautiful land. It's crumbling... crumbling so bad... terrible...

We will stop the drugs from pouring into our country and poisoning our youth -- and we will expand treatment for those who have become so badly addicted. They're pouring in... just pouring in... oh.

Even with a teleprompter, he can't hide stupid. Harvard. Lol.

What a failure of a thread. What a failure of a President. What a failure our education system has had on the dumbshits who actually voted for Drumpf.
so let me just address each point of your brainiac argument

1. Thread- we are entitled to have differing opinions. What is democracy without that?
2. He's only been in office a short time. How can any intelligent person say he's a failure?
3. Our education system has been under plenty of democratic control. It' gotten worse (see poster for evidence)
4. (see point 3)
