After dreaming of a cob light for two years I just ordered a 200 watt Vero 29 v7 kit from Dan at Timber.. Can't wait. It's a custom order.. Can't beat it for $250.

It's for my 2x2 tent. Running at 100 watts a piece with ability to dim. 3500k.. I'm so stoked.. Timber is taking real good care of me.

This should be plenty of light for the space. What do you guys think?

Timber is an awesome company to do business with. Enjoy your new lights , I love my cobs

I am reading and trying to figure out how much light I will have. Specifically ppfd, but that's sort of hurting my brain. I read that a good rule of thumb is 12-25 par watts per sqft is good. I'll have close to 100 par watts so It should be good as long as coverage is decent.

I'm wondering if I should take off the reflectors.. Anyone have a thought on that?

I'm like a kid waiting for santa to come.... The lights showed up today, but I wasn't home... I'll get them tomorrow.
What a smok'n deal.. The beauty of the new Veros and heasinkss is that you can crank them up... You save by not needing to buy 4 lights...

You have plenty of light with that setup. Not sure how tall your tent is, but keep your plant height in mind. Have fun!

Thanks Joe...My tent is only 4ft tall... I think that should be sufficient though since I will LST or SCROG.. If not, I will pop them into a closet..

Hahahaa.. took me a second to get that :).... Yea, who would believe such incredible yields :)

No actually I was meaning pics of the light lol, sorry didn't mean it how you took it and hadn't thought of that. Just medicated and babbling, pics are always cool. (:

Yea, I gotta figure out how to mount... Maybe this weekend I'll do the respectable thing and get the angled aluminum.

It's kind of cool knowing that I now own, if even for a short time, one of the world's most advanced light bulbs..

Shoot me a pm if you need help with the frame this weekend.

Good stuff man. I just made mine today!

The cobs are huge, get the 1/8th aluminum if you can cut it. Feels great
