Thanks, SM, I was just reading about the movie "5 Came Back" yesterday, especially the impact that filming the Dachau Camp liberation had on George Stevens who was just unable to make any of the comedic films he was known for after his return. All of the directors were deeply affected by their experiences in Europe and the Pacific.
