Ditto!I am going out May 1 with seedlings because I can.
Clones are getting brought in 12/12 starting May 1.
Agree with huey14,My seedlings are out all ready and doing there thing I put them out April 1st
You don't need a lot of light to keep them in veg. A couple three CFL's will do the trick. It's the hours that are important. My babies have been outside since a month ago and I'm from Los Angeles... The seedlings are doing just fine... But some of my clones started to flower on me since they barley got about 13 hours of light... So now I put all my ladies under 1000watt MH until 11pm after it starts to get dark....
Use this link {click on your city} to see when your length of day gets up to 13 hours 45 minutes. That is the safe time for a lot of strains. But you have to know what you are growing, and when it flips.until when do you use supplemental lighting>>
You should look into doing a Spring crop. I'm trying my first one up here in NW Florida. Other than a couple of frost that took their toll, it has gone pretty good. Should be chopping in 3 weeks or so.Germinating my Holland's hope and skunk #1 right now. Central florida and the weather's 70-90 right now. It gets very hot in the summer sometimes in the 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I have to water them everyday in the summer almost. My little girls will be in the sun in a few days. I also have a power plant growing supposed to be a big yielder. Going with 5 gallon buckets and that one special lady will get the 20 gallon one
damn..we got 500 plants started in greenhouse be putting out around 250-300 females the last full moon in may so the first week in june they go out in the yard and bush
The 4 of july is a nice time to put out the late ones, there not as big but their less chewed and beat up.Since I'm doing the Spring crop, I'll have "about a pound" coming in shortly. I've told myself I'm waiting until June to start my "full" season plants. And I most likely will with any of my bought seeds. But the last three nights I've stayed at the camp, I've worked my seed pot. Got about this many seeds each time. The 2nd and 3rd are good above ground planting days, so there is an outside chance there will be a few B&S X CP1, CP1 X Slo2 or Peach seeds that get planted along with the peas, beans and corn that are going in the ground those days. I should be safe now. Last year I got an early start, and suffered early flower problems.
