Does the presence of conidia (spores) an indicator that your plant is infected or is that same plant resistant to fungal development? How can you know for sure?

i think spores will still attach even if they don't form.
some strains i noticed no visible mildew yet ruined taste; some seemed fine\unaffected while others where just visibly effected and smoke ruined.

PM can be invisible to the naked eye by vascularizing inside the plant, and other strains can explode with PM a couple of weeks before flowering because their defenses may start to weakened prior to flowering.
