wire two in series for 48v...then if using multiple strings, wire all the positive leads together and all the negative leads together in parallel to draw the proper current.Hi @cobby!
How can I run 24 volt led strips on a 48 volt Meanwell?
i was not thinking and have hooked every build i have done ,parallel...[those seniors]why parallel? those arent 80V cobs. series should work fine
it will "settle" on a voltage from the current it draws....and may draw up to the 33v for instance if ambient temp rises....a little testing is probably in order to see what the vF settles to after warming up aka volt droopHey guys, I have 9 vero18's that are running in sets of three, each set has its own 560ma driver that isn't dimmable. I'm thinking about picking up a Hlg-185H-36a to run these but I'm unsure about one thing. On the spec sheet it shows the Constant Current Region between 18~36v and it has an adjustable voltage of 33~40v. Now if I'm running these at the lowest end of the Current 2.6a spread over 9 cobs its 290ma and will be under 33v.
Will the driver pick the correct voltage to run at if my running voltage is under the self-adjustment threshold of 33v?
Thanks
adding some monos isnt a terrible idea although you may be able to squeeze a 4th vero onto your stringsRandomHero..what a coincidence!..three for each
two drivers... 6 vero 18's
i just hooked three vero 18's in series to each 80-130Vf /510 ma driver and it works!
the two drivers and 6 cobs are only drawing 106w total at the wall
i wonder if there is any way to get more out those two drivers with vero 18's?
will one driver power one unit or will a single driver power multiple units?I am about to build some fixtures for a friend who did not yet decided grow space.
My plan is to build discrete light fixture of 150watt for 50cmx50cm, that he could scale up according ti his space.
My question is....how to daisy chain light among them?

A 100k ohm linear potentiometer wired per the Meanwell diagrams. So easy a caveman could do it.i got 185h c1400b driver ..what i need to make him dimmable ?
Any information on the cob's? You will need to know how much current you want to run.need help new to LED
just bought (2) 100w 36v 3a full spectrum COBs from china off ebay and i need to know what i need to power and or drive them.
on amazon i found this led driver with this description
Tesfish 100W LED Driver Adaptor Power Supply AC 85~265V to 30~36V 3A For 100W High Power LED Floodlight Bulb
can anyone tell me if this driver can have just a plug attached and plug directly into the wall and the other end wired directly to the COBs?
also how many COBs will it power/drive at full power? just one or two or more?
thanks for the help!
yes sir, i think i posted it already.Any information on the cob's? You will need to know how much current you want to run.
