Nice man
Yeah I love them. They can be a bit finicky if you let them dry out, but when they're running well they tend to work really well. I have learned that the need for a wet/dry cycle is not only a myth, but actually seems to hold the plants back. With Blumats I can pull 2 zips per 1Gallon pot which I think is kinda cool for my small spaces. Cheers@MrTwist1 Those are Bluemat Watering Stones right? How do you like those? Do they work well?
I have been looking for that answer for quite a while. Great to hear.Yeah I love them. They can be a bit finicky if you let them dry out, but when they're running well they tend to work really well. As you can see the little 3ft flower tent is ticking along nicely, but slowly, at 37 days since flip. I feel like it's a week behind where it would normally be at this stage, and I put that down to not having the far reds in there until around the 2nd or 3rd week (stoner memory). It also seems a little leafier than normal and I put that down to running a lot of 5000K in there at the start of flower - I was trying to really limit the stretch this time. Anyway the buds look frosty and tasty just not so dense. It is still crazy hot and humid here, so that really doesn't help the bud density either.

Now the flower cab is a different story! These babies are throwing out buds already at day 10 and filling the space nicely. That's 4x Berry White clone in there, down from 8 last run. I am definitely leaning more towards longer veg and less plants lately. Tons of budsites on these sexy ladies and now I just gotta fatten them up.
Despite what I said in an earlier post I did run the Far Reds almost from the start of flower (started 1 day late) and it really makes a difference in flower onset. I also experimented with gradually reducing lighting hours down from 18-12 instead of just going abruptly from one to the other and I'm pretty sure that also helped early flower onset this time round.

As you can see my tiny little veg space gets pretty fckn hot lol. Unfortunately there's no way to really exhaust this space without damaging the fitted closet and I cannot do that, so I have to just keep the door open instead. The plants don't love it, but they do seem to handle it. There's some Berry White clones at various stages of rooting and a couple new starts in there, with the Berry White bonsai mom behind. I always seem to have an issue with my moms and clones getting really red/purple stems and growing super slow at the start. I'm sure they are deficient in something, but I have never been able to work out what. I find once they get onto full strength nutes the grow out of it so I'm trying to feed stronger sooner, but then I run the risk of burning them so I'm not sure what that's about. Some sort of lockout or something. Interestingly my local growbro just complained to me about the same problem, using the same soil (Sunshine Mix #4 small white bag), so I guess it's something to do with the soil. Maybe too heavy/wet at the start? I'm thinking to try adding more perlite next time. Advice welcomed Cheers folks
oh i never checked the dates but you should indeed
As I remember that canopy turned out pretty good, but yielded less than I expected. The following run I switched out all the COBs for Samsung SMD strips and it ran much better. There is just not enough vertical space in that little tent to run COBs, but the diffused light of the Samsung strips is much easier to manage. So good on for getting back into the thread...how did that killa canopy turn out in pic 1?
Yeah man this is my first pack (although I tragically lost a pack of their Jawa Pie previously) and I'm stoked with these. Hopefully they set up International shipping soon. I live outside US but I have a freight forwarding service based in Miami... maybe that's something you can look into? The hard part is that Oceangrown/Lumberjack does not seem to ship stealth, so I have to get them sent to a friend in the US and then repackaged for the international leg of their journey. I guess maybe that's why the delay for International shipping from them, but not sure.lookin good! man, id love some ocean grown beans, just cant get them in the uk. i follow all that lot on youtube, love em! yummy selection of flavours they offer
Oh man that would be fun eh! One day I'll make it to a cup! At least you have access to the attitude and those other UK seed banks - there's still plenty of fun looking stuff to buy on there!!awww mannnn the Jawa Pie, thats a bummer. sweet, i might check that freight forwarding out, thanks. didnt think about the stealthy aspect...its tricky huh! Vader recently said on the Growtube round table that they are state limited or something, plus he said they dont have huge stock but hes expanding the breeding area so fingers crossed for the future... i might have to fly over and attend a cup just to get some, crazy! Hope these DP turn out well for ya!
I hear ya bud... I have only bought Ocean Grown since I discovered them!thats true dude! there is a lot of choice here, just not ocean grown choice
rubbin it now manI hear ya bud... I have only bought Ocean Grown since I discovered them!
