I see, now. Neanderthals were a different evolutionary branch, nearly lateral to sapiens and successive to heidelbergensis. These two, along with all other hominids alive, still evolved into Homo sapiens. The bottom line is that Neanderthals are extinct, and that all humans today are Homo sapiens.But they say the neanderthal DNA is not in Africans. So that blows a big hole in your theory.
