I definitely got to get a taller grow space at some point. Also. The container is on that angle because there's two vents on the back corners that don't get much space. A bit of extra width wouldn't be a loss either...

I mean. That canopy is 7 inches tall above healthy ground. In about 28 cubic cm of dirt. With less than 26cm of grow height left.

I have a 14w exhaust fan with a pencil holder and a 1cm thick layer of carbon held in place by an old thin sock.

Just curious, I'm looking looking into building a cab 15"x36"x60" and I'm wanting to save money but stealth is a must for me. Just trying to check my options

Trust me man. The only way mine is stealth. Is if it's covered in junk. And not humming away.

I've yet to master the skill of hiding all the bits inside the box. And still be able to grow properly.

Here's a nice upgrade from the midget maker. Only cost me $35 at St Vinnies.

you can see the size difference of my old cab next to this one. My old one would fit inside. And have enough room to put a can of coke pretty much either side and front and back.

Tested the new confine for light leaks. She's pretty solid for her age. You'd barely notice a light going inside. Unless you were looking for it. Not like the other one I've got. Nothing is properly square. And it leaks like a sieve. Hence all the tape.

First pic was taken while the 3500k Veros were running near full tilt.

The second is natural light on a cloudy day.

How's that reveg looking? I'm not sure what to expect at this stage. Otherwise I'd not be asking.

I still haven't got my new light put together. I need some advice on that too.
It's mainly the frame and mounting postion. Not so much the wiring.

For shits and giggles I decided to see what my current, active grow space looks like inside my new one.

Outside that wall on the right is a further 33cm wide space with the same height and depth.

I could easily have all my electrical gear in that skinny section. Keep a (drawer?) or two for fiskars or whatever else grow related. AND. Have a little section under that for getting new plants going.

Looking good. Make sure it's getting good veg nutes, particularly N, and Kelp and a bacteria/myco/trichoderma supplement would be helpful. Humidity, up a little bit. A bit of heat. 20/4 or 18/6, since you want it to stretch its limbs back a bit. As long as you left some budsights, they should become branches again. It's just going to look somewhat ugly at first.

I am going to second what @Olive Drab Green said as far as growth and re-veg goes. It's gonna look a bit funky and take a little while to bounce back but she'll get there. If you do decide to bump up the humidity though, keep an eye on the existing bud sites. The can get a little mold/rot from time to time, but that I've only seen on outdoor. Shouldn't have any issues in a cab.

I was thinking about your light leak/sealing issue though. You could buy a roll of .5cm weather stripping at the hardware store and run it along the edging where the doors meet the frame. Looks like you might be able to place it on the contact area where the doors come together but it might be a bit thick. Also, you could improve temp and humidity stability and other possible light leaks by sealing the inside edges with bathroom silicone after your paint has dried. Give it 24-48 hours to let the fumes to dissipate though. The new cab is rad though man. I dig that finish on it.

I've almost completed the light frame. And have a pic of it running. And half ass hung.

Looks like I could've done with some reflectors.

Oh well... Still got to paint the inner walls. Which will help.

Only the minicab has noticeable light issues. The chunky bugger is well built and hasnt got anywhere near as much leakage.

The best thing about the mini is its smart light. But that's nothing in comparison to what I'm building with now. There's even a noticeable difference in the sound deadening qualities of the larger cabinet. Tried a bluetooth speaker inside at near full tilt. And you can still hear the mini cab fans more.

Light is almost complete. Would've loved it if cutter supplied frame options too. This thing has been a complete brain wrack to build.
