Look into the KISS method, or the Lucas formula. Keep it super simple. It looks like a lot if people do good with and it's cheap. It might help being new to hydro.

depending on what you believe best means, like cheapest, easiest, etc.

the easiest best most expensive bottled nutrients I've used were made by Advanced nutrients.

Not necessarily the cheapest and easiest. I am not concerned with. Just need to know some opinions on what I should use.
I think you're get "easiest" comments because hydro can be a lot to take on for the inexperienced. If you simplify, it could help you dodge problems that could leave you with a failed grow.

I was just looking at Canna Flora nutrients on the web period I noticed that there are many different kinds. What is exactly that you use from this line of nutrients period?
Sorry, it's the Aqua Flores I use, best for hydro, not much else is need to be honest, I use calmag as I have soft water and get rusty spots without it.

Dynagro All Pro or Foliage Pro for 50 bux a gallon and 10 pounds of MKP for 40 bux go a long way for a little money. Also pretty simple to use.

How often do you give the nutrients to the plants. Also I am just starting out and I'm only growing one plant.

And there it is!

How about you buy and read this book on growing? It'll go much farther to you learning how and to actually form your own choices. The best will be experience in choosing nutrients to use.

Your in hydro......so, there are many that are easy and effective to use. By asking here, "What is the best". All your really getting is opinions based on another person bias...

KIND and PRO (Botanicare)
Canna
Flora Nova
Hesi
Ionic

Can all be great choices! So are some others. Adding a supplement here and there - for specific reasons can be needed or a good idea. Some make up for what others can lack.....

You may not want to pick out the most expensive one to start, nor the cheapest.
I have decades of experience that make me say what I would do. The thing is, I'm biased by what I want, what I've learned and how I want the results to be - for me!

Simple, effective and you can adjust the concentrations to your actual needs...... I might say KIND. Sure as hell a clean running hydro nutrient...

Canna is a superior choice also - Not a cheap one on the wallet....

Read the book - read the suggestions, and make your choice from there.

So hopefully the OP wont mind if I expand this thread and ask what is the better hydro method for a beginner to use? i.e. coco and hand water, flood and drain ect.?? I have always done soil myself and I am kind of thinking of trying hydro but would want a simplistic method so I am thinking its a hand watering once a day method but not sure how all the pros and cons add up over time, and what is best for a beginner.

@Dr. Who I read that book in the mid 80's and it is an excellent book!
