double nute feed !.... just flush?

Hello all.

Had a moment of madness when feeding one of my plants today.
Im growing a northern lights auto and when feeding my mind was on some issues with health............. and i f***ed up big time.
Im growing with a basic biobizz range (allmix/grow/bloom) and i fed her with double grow by accident. In total she got in total 3ml of grow and 0.9ml bloom with 1.5l of water.
Realising what i just did i flushed her with roughly 4-5l just to get the nutes out.
I then let the pot drip until it stopped and i placed her bac in the tent and made a hole roughly the depth of a finger to help with evaporation..

Do you think anything else needs doing to avoid burns ?

Depending how big the plant is and it only being one time .....you would have honestly been alright IMO ....I'm not a fan of flushing at all...but if you ran clean water through her immediately after ....you probably washed and or diluted most of what you put in .......probably would have been fine though ...GL

thanks, she is 4.7 weeks (33) days old, it was within 2 mins of feeding i realised what i ha e done and instantly flushed.

Like I said I'm not a fan of flushing ....but in your case I'm sure running the fresh water through helped dilute the nutes you doubled .....is your leafs super dark green or is it the light making it look that way?

The leafs are quite dark green but always have been, apart from this slipup she has never had any problems, also in comparison the ak48 i have has leafs the same colour.

yeah as long as you dont keep it up your good. looks like that plant just wants plain water for awhile.

As long as you got the excess N out before it uptakes you shouldn't burn.
But that's an auto, if you fart it may stress. ;+)

Yeah autos can be a bitch. they take about half the fert of regular photo plants so theyre easy to burn and hard to starve

She seems quite happy at the moment, still growing and not showing any problems (yet).
I just hope she drinks up all that water in her pot to avoid root rot, nute lockout ect.
The pot has lost a bit of weight and biobizz has good drainage but in 36h i might place the pot on a towl which will act like a wick and pull the water out.
