I never tried it. One of the very few cannabis myths or claims I haven't tried.

I have tried damn near all of them at least once.

I use t5 and harvest in stages normally. Maybe ill try it.

Well you said you didn't think he was and that proved something. But he is.

And the fermenting process is exactly what would start. If the plant was under water for some time. The roots alone would not cause the action he says.

About the only thing I can think of boiling water having a benefit towards is leeching salts out of a medium. If you're running a medium like Coco and wanted it completely clean for the next run boiling water would be an ok choice, it would also have the added benefit of killing 99.9% of bugs in the soil.

As for the plant receiving benefits. I just can't see how it could be any different than cutting the plant at the soil. Boiling water on the roots kills the plant. The roots die instantly if the roots die and we have no soil activity whats the difference?

I will say that I have ordered more than once from jah and don. Yes. There were issues. Every new business has them. I was more than compensated for the issues and even turned down more than generous freebies.

I find it suspect because the customer service was good.

I have done nothing but paid for the seeds and never been asked for a good review.

I'll give an update. Shortly after my last post a 3rd party graciously offered to "mediate" since don stopped responding to emails and dm's. Through the mediater I was offered to fill my order or get my money back. I chose the latter. Never happened. I then contacted the breeders of the seeds involved and was told by one of them that JEC isn't even a reseller. Great.
Soon after that I was contacted by Gnome. He put my order together and mailed it from the states. That's was 2 weeks ago so it should be here any day. I appreciate his efforts to rectify this.
By the way, I'm not here to trash anyone's business. In fact when I went with JEC in the first place it was because he's Canadian and a new business and I knew I wouldn't have any problems shipping within Canada.
Fwiw, seems everyone has had issues.

No benefit as growing. Benefits the curing process.

I won't say one way or the other. I haven't tried it. If you haven't you have no room to speak either.

Until a person actually tries something then they don't know.

This and other sites are so full of people parroting what they read without actual knowledge.

Just the same if someone hasn't grown or tried #357 then they don't know.

I know there was an issue there. I do t believe it to be a misrepresentation. I think when they put the catalog out they had a deal and it fell through.

I also know if you ask for something they don't have they will source it.

What ever man. The wholee thin leaf blades doesn't hold true for all sativas.

Him saying 10 week is a clue that its not pure. I've grown 20 week strains.

I'm not going to sit here and say that all the seeds I got from him were great. That would be a lie.

I will say that I wish I would've cloned the one ctf. It has been one of only a few plants in over 20 years to give me visuals.

Ill post a pic of one in flower tonight. It is fox tailing now. Over 10 weeks for sure now.

Seriosly though, not all sativas have thin leaf blades. Look into Oxacans and other Mexican strains that are broad leaf.

That's cool, glad you are happy, everything i have seen here doesn't look like sativa to me.

The techniques i have seen here are laughable as well, such as, healthy plants don't smell, pour boiling water on your roots, t5's are the best lights , etc....

That's cool, glad you are happy, everything i have seen here doesn't look like sativa to me.

Im still trying to understand why some young men are so rude on the internet. It just isn't something we would do in my time. We respected our elders. Sad new era.

I do. Have 2 very healthy #357s that are very healthy under 3500 k 90 cri Northern Grow Light Citizen equipped. Happy plants.

They are bigger than average and differ from each other in bud structure. One spears and one big tight bud, red haired round buds. Both happy plants smell like Bazooka and now something an old familiar black pepper spike. Very nice.

The one with chunky buds has trichs all over upper leaves and the stronger smelling. Both happy plant are extremely sticky. Compaired to others in room the leaves are greener and more shiney. Quite long and narrow on both. Spear budded plant has all white pistils.

Both have had about 1/3 amber trichs from the start, but a lighter creamy amber.
