You've been holding out on me with this thread thumper. I just came across it. Everything is looking awesome and I'm excited to see how the gold mine and honeyXskidder does. I'll be taking some pictures next time I'm in the bush to update you on how your stock is doing in my neck of the woods. I'm definitely behind in growth this year as mother nature has thrown me some challenges but that's how it goes sometimes. Keep up the work, you'll give those boys in Maine run for their money.

Haven't had a tick in over 40 years since moving to Oregon. As a kid in Oklahoma after a day in the woods... Moms rules "go to the bathroom and strip down". I f'n hate ticks and chiggers.
we got the highest rate of lime in the country here in maine, iam surprised I haven't got it yet,no a dozen folks who got it last few yrs,i gotta strip down after mowing the lawn loaded over my way.

My honey x skidder and sea dragon crosses appeared to have taken but when I checked today I had to cut like 20 percent out due to rot and it's still got 4-5 weeks left so not sure it'll make it considering we've had almost no rain so far... the only spot that I can buy serenade around here Doesn't carry it anymore and it's like 60 bucks for one bottle after shipping on Amazon canada....gonna have to figure something out soon

im actually more worried about getting limes from a tick in the busy town i work in rather than my own woods.the deer travel in packs in town during winter.ive seen as many as 14 together at one time.i really only see solitary deers up my way during summer/winter.
from what i understand,a tick needs to be on one deer, drop off,get another deer to start the whole limes thing.but who fucking knows.i just plan on getting it and hoping for a cure.sad but true, those bastards are small and can be hard to find

When I first move to Oregon I shot a forked horn blacktail, gutted him and managed to get him up on my shoulders and packed him about a half mile to the truck. Skinned him out in the garage and put the hide and legs in a trash bag to dump in the woods for the critters. Opened up the sack to dump it and there were hundreds of ticks crawling everywhere. Freaked me right the fuck out. Never threw another deer on me again. We have ticks here, I've just never had one on me.
