If you're pulling 4 or more oz off one plant with one 300w mars hydro, then I can't wait for my MarsHydro 700w to get here lol, after this grow I'll be ordering some blue dream and lemon haze. Hoping to get at least a pound with 3 plants of blue dream in a 4x2 tent with one marshydro 700w

It's a Mars 700, not a Mars 700w. The company(based on their site) doesn't even label them like that.

Personally, I'd buy a 315 over that Mars 700. it's much more efficient and is only 50 or 100 bucks more.

On edit: Just noticed you already purchased the Mars. You'll do fine with it. They're half way decent blurple panels.

There are much better options when you eventually decide to switch it out.

I only grow with led cause I'm already dealing with a little heat problem. If I get anything else temps would just go up to 100.. and I don't have much to spend. I did have my eyes on the optic 4, those are on sale for $400. They beat out the Kind Leds and they're very much cheaper. But for my grow space and amount of plants I think a mars 700 would be good enough, for now

When you're ready to upgrade, look into cobs. Or printed circuit boards.

The technology you're using is(watt for watt) equivalent to HID lighting. It's old tech. like I said, you'll do just fine under a Mars, but there are much better options available to you. Do the research.

I'm in the same situation in the winter lol. I need heat so might as well be light that's producing it I figure lol. For 3 or 4 months LED might work great though. So your planning on running AC, lights from a panel? That's gonna be a kick ass panel and a fuck load of batteries ;).

You may want to add a generator if your going off grid. Watch the windmills, lots of maintenance I've heard. If we're on grid here the power is fed back into the grid and they pay you for it :), a princely sum I might add if you were smart and got in early.

I run my old Mars 600 in a short 2x2. It does veg very well. Healthy plants albeit dark green, thick stems. The heat is a bitch to deal with tho.
