No pistols that I've seen but every weird looking growth that has come from presex growth areas just turns to leaves. But it's looking sketchy now...any chance it's female. I know it will show more in time but it's taking up valuable space if it's a male

Cant tell right now. Like you said yourself let it go a bit more time you wont ask yourself that question it will be noticable.
