went to a new junkyard today. 900lbs and they offered 1.20lb. told the guy to suck my dick. because my normal yard pays about 5.20lb. make sure to look around before you sell. can't stand people who try to scam.
1.20$???? LMFAO. i would have laughed at the top of my lungs at that fool.

pure copper is diamagnetic, meaning that it has no unpaired electrons and will interact with magnetic fields only very weakly. Copper is magnetic although you may not be able to detect it without specialized equipment.
Most "non-magnetic" materials (such as water, plastic, wood, etc.) are diamagnetic. Pure iron (and many iron containing compounds), on the other hand, are ferromagnetic because they have unpaired electrons.

interesting copper funz n facts too

Copper prices have dropped dramatically.

I save all mine up and take it a couple hours from where I live to the place the scrap yards here take it to. They pay double what the local places pay.

Around here its little over 2 bucks a pound. 3 something at the big yard.

Back when I worked larger construction jobs it wasn't uncommon to haul a couple thousand pounds worth of copper a few times a year.
