Multiple seeds in 20 gallon pot?

Been wondering would multiple seeds work in a 20 gallon pot? I planted a few seeds yesterday because we've been having crazy rain showers lately. And was thinking should I pluck some of the sprouts when they're barely popping out? Because I put seeds for days in that pot :) maybe like 8 possibly 10. What do you guys think? :?:

i have done it before when pheno hunting. survival of the fittest. killing off the males and runts as they go to give the nicer ones more room- both above and under soil. I usually do a big chop about 15 days after flip, label whatever is left over, taking clones of ones i like. To me, it is easier than having a whole bunch of 1-2 gal pots in flower, PITA to water that many little pots.

That's perfect then :) it's really humid outside today so I think I'll see those little sprouts soon :p I'm stoked to see how they'll come out :rolleyes: and I always terminate the males 1st time I notice them too :hump: well thanks for your input man

flip? What's that like top? And I'm growing outdoors :) it's been raining and really humid lately so I thought best time to sprout them.

as LH said, indoor growing you change your light schedule to induce flowering, but you will be basically flowering after a few weeks of growth, which is good because of the numbers you will have

I have a friend who does two fem seeds in a 30 gallon smart on his patio every year....he has to plant late and train the piss out of them to have enough light penetration ....il admit it looks kinda cool with a flat canopy of buds hanging out all over ...but I tell him the same could be achieved with one ....he's a head case and is stuck on 2 plants gives him more ....((SMH)) it doesn't effect me none so who cares ....but I agree ...I see no reason to put multiples in one pot
