Looking for Strains with African Genetics

So most people have probably not realized this, but just as an example, Girl Scout Cookies is made from Durban F1 X OG Kush. Then Cherry Pie (Durban Poison X Grandaddy Purp), a Cherry flavored strain that made Pink Champagne (Cherry Pie X Grandaddy Purp).

I've heard that one version of MILF Weed, from the show weeds, is 4 African strains mixed together.

Banana Sunrise (Very similar to what I am doing, with a very similar Banana strain) is made with Banana Sativa and Girl Scout Cookies and Durban. The Banana Sativa is where the Banana Crack comes from.

African strains seem to be bringing out some of the best genetics. Everyone has heard of Girl Scout Cookies, while hardly anyone has heard that it has Durban Poison in it.

Does anyone know of any other good strains that already exist today that have African Genetics?

The Marijuana Industry is now doing Genetic Testing of Plants in order to look for things like Genetic Heritage, Yield, THC Content, etc, and to find F1 plants, and soon even unforeseen applications, as this is the only company doing this right now and by the time it is normal it will have become even more useful than it is now.

When people hear about Girl Scout Cookies it is almost as if it stands alone and is not a cross between 2 strains, no one says "Have you tried Girl Scout Cookies, it's an awesome new Durban cross". I have never heard anything like that from anyone, or at any dispensary. No one really knows that it has Durban in it.

And I was not asking what African Strains there are, I know what African Landrace strains exist. I am looking for strains like Girl Scout Cookies and Cherry Pie and all those that have Durban in them. But maybe like a Malawi Kush, or Malawi Haze, or Malawi Diesel, that kind of stuff. Does anyone know of any of those?

Well, you know how White Widow was made from Thai Landrace and Brazilian Landrace and started this whole thing where now like every year there is a new strain with higher THC content than the year before?

Then Charlotte's Web and CBD were discovered to have a use, and Charlotte's Web itself was bred for high CBD content. And ever since then people have been breeding plants with higher and higher CBD content. But no one is breeding strains with THCV content. Why is it that every year or every few years there is not a new strain with higher THCV content than ever before?

I am pretty sure the way to do this is to do this:

First, add smell genetics, such as the Banana Crack and White Strawberry Skunk.

Then either cross those with something like White Rhino or White Russian, or Cross the Malawi with the White Rhino at the same time that it is breeding with the Banana Crack and White Strawberry Skunk. And if you use the second method, you would then cross those 2 crosses (Malawi X Banana) X (Malawi X Rhino).

Then cross them with Hazes and Kushes, etc. And then breed them back with African Strains and Aromatic Strains.

Then select a mother plant by breeding those together, and pick one with higher THCV content, tons of trichs, and some unique colors or something.

Then from there I will breed that new strain with African Landraces and other Landraces to see what can be brought out.

Also, we have the Girl Scout Cookies clone and the Early Durban. So both of those are already crossed with African Genetics. So we can cross those back in and the African Genetics will recombine.

And I am pretty sure Malawi Gold is the plant with the highest known THCV content currently, and I got both Ace Seeds Malawi and Seedsman Seeds African Buzz, so I got 2 versions of Malawi Gold. And if 1 is Male and 1 is Female, I can cross 1 with the Feminized plants and 1 with any Male plants that turn up.

Then if I cross the 2 types of Malawi Gold with other strains, then cross those offspring back together, the Malawi Genetics will meet back up after being altered.

way too many fingers in the pot(lol) for way too many reasons at most GREED!

wake up smell the coffee

most quality breeders breed for tric. flavor (currently for medical CBD)

very few good breeders breed for sky rocket high THC readings

but claims of 20% THC are abound now, and indeed most of my current stock claims to exceed that

but in honesty I would say most aren't above 18% THC

I know longer have or use the CAT Kit

IMO spend 2 hours on ICMAG may help

I'm just saying that we shouldn't just leave the African strains out of the gene pool because they are already good on their own. I think that's more reason to bring the African Genetics in.

No self respecting breeder would ever consider bringing multiple strains of pollen into a single flower room at the same time. You are rushing things too much and cannot guarantee that your crosses will be what you think they are.
