they weren't super dense buds but they did pretty good. Here are the two photo plants under the same vipar 600 now. I had some really nice trichome pics but they had to be deleted.

Check out California light works I'm on my first grow too but much more powerful lighting then you. Maybe another week or two. I've already gotten over 2oz of dried bud off the small one. A little premature is better then buying! Lol

When you have a shit ton of weed and have waited months for it to be done what's the big deal with trying a bud? If I only grew one small plant and had like a half ounce then of coarse I'd let it cure first. But when you've got upwards of a pound to your self, whooptie freaking doo lol

Blame me alone for the strangeness of this thread, how dare you pick on new growers. Show some crystal but some how I doubt that he knows how to grow crystal.

On my second grow running a mehizhi 450w led somewhere around 170w draw. I'm impressed with the results so far for a light I payed 200$ Canadian all in. Led are the way to go imo. Less heat, less cost, and proper bands of light. Hid and mh are old news. Just finished week 2 of flower, 1 plant scrog

Very true, I watched alot of videos and read reviews. At my price point of about 300 max, I felt the mehizhi 450w was the one. The 120° lens and bloom and veg switch. I haven't been let down by it yet. I would recommend to anyone who has 200$ and wants an led.
Everything I have expressed is just my opinion.

Price point.....that's what so many people miss on this site. We all know what the hell generally makes big buds. Right? When someone mentions a mehizhi or Mars or vipar. That should be a signal of where they are as growers or where their $ point is. Hate to see guys jump in talking about lights that are 3 and 4 times more expensive than what a Kat is asking about. It's like they just can't stand but to weigh in. IMO the " Chinese " lights have their place in the grow world. I use one, would I like huge fucking buds? Sure... But I'm not committing to making that happen with better and more expensive lights. I'm still new and my yields will continue to grow because I'm getting to be a better gardener. I've had many hours of enjoyment watching my girls flower.

I have a 600 vipar, I bought used for super cheap. It would be nice to step it up a bit with either another Chinese model or just build as much light as I can afford from scratch.

Is funny how this art can be manipulated into whatever reality the gardener chooses.. I promise, science doesn't lie. If you'd like to sample your buds prior to chop(in order to figure which day is the best stone...) Vaporize. But if you really enjoy a great headache, sure, go ahead and carbonize some uncured flowers. The plant is NOT finished growing because you chopped it down. There are still things to do. But yeah, I'm a bully, who loves when people get an attitude cause their head hurts after a racing high. STFU salt farmer
